1.
I've found one good singer in 8 years of looking, and she was completely insane, we had to kick her out after she brought a dead sq
Looks like she came back to bump you off
2.
Where's that function on my iPod? Can't find it anywhere...
Settings, General, Accessibility, scroll down to the left-right slider
3. I'm the opposite, once the recording starts I find it hard not to overplay.
4.
Check it out there's some great stuff on there (mine excepted )
I will do
5. http://soundcloud.com/tsunami42 Already wrongly posted this in general discussion, here's four tracks I recorded last month with one of my bands. Badly mixed with quiet bass but still, I'm curious to find out what people think
6.
Hi Jack. There's a thread for SoundCloud posts in the Recording forum here: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/156658-basschatters-soundcloud-accounts/ There's also a SoundCloud group on Basschat where you can share your music: http://soundcloud.com/groups/basschat Get stuck in!
Cheers mate, didn't know about this
7. The link works now if anyone's still interested. Looking back I can hear how badly mixed these are, singing's too loud and too similar to Morrissey and I'm barely audible on some tracks. Bit disappointed!
8. My Squier and Marshall stack will probably do it for me for a good few years yet, I sound the same on anything else after I've fiddled with the EQ anyway so I don't see the point in changing yet Slightly off topic I know.
9. We had one drunk lady say to us: "Do you know any Nicki Minaj?" Singer: "No sorry we don't do requests." "Oh, well do you know any Maroon 5?" Christ knows what she thought he meant.
10. No, maybe they just enjoy playing and don't care about the money.
11.
As a result the subject is still going on and noone comes for a beer?!
How about a double vodka and coke?
12. I just had a go at it, I feel very humble...
13. Which bass is best for metal?
14. I used to watch Paul Wolfe's lessons, they were a massive help in my first year of playing.
15. I use the mobile site from my iPhone, is there any way of uploading pictures? Switching to the full site doesn't work
16.
Nah, I'm Dre's half brother and so is my wife!
Well I'm Dr Dre, I don't remember seeing you at the Christmas reunion?
17.
Maybe I've been suckered into believing an urban myth! (along with many others) http://www.independent.co.uk/news/people/obituary-eazye-1614134.html
That article also says that Snoop Dogg is Dr Dre's half brother, I think someone was having that writer on.
18.
trivia: Charles Wright was Easy E's father. I'm guessing they didn't have too much trouble acquiring the rights!
That's not true, Eazy E's dad was called Richard
19. It's a Charles Wright sample, from a song of the same name Edit: Damn you all!
20. Good little bass without any modifications too.
21.
Yeah, that's Basschat.
You have taken my quote and used it out of context sir! You should write for The Sun
22. Why this one of course...they beat us if we say otherwise Anyone remember Bassmasta before Songsterr bought them out? There was quite a good forum there, quite similar to this in the way that it wasn't full of elitist d***s constantly arguing with each other
23. Your fingers will man up, that's pretty normal
24.
Yeah, well, I've been kicked out of a good band through being sh*t and trying to bluff it. I was 19 and it taught me a big f***ing lesson I never forgot. I still cringe thinking about it.
What happened?
25. Ask for the chords, or work them out for yourself and go from there. I doubt they're after anything too complicated
