1.
This c**t
Can I change my vote?
2. The singer from Young Guns, or any of those glorified boybands. I got dragged along to see Enter Shikari in Manchester last month and Young Guns were supporting, he pranced around the stage dropping the F-bomb every two seconds between each identical sounding song and asked the audience to "get down on your f****** knees Manchester!" at one point. He couldn't sing either. Liam's alright, he's quite funny in interviews.
3. About the same for me
4. "Please send your track, along with your sort code and account number to [email protected] and we will take it from there."
5. I was trying a Jazz bass (didn't like it much) out in Dawsons in Chester this afternoon, when this lad walks over with the salesman to try one out for himself; he sits down opposite me and spends a good few minutes fiddling about with the EQ on a Roland Cube, then proceeds to treat us all to the worst slap bass solo in history. How many times can someone play E and it's octave in five minutes? A lot apparently. Why on earth do people insist on doing that? I feel sorry for the sales people having to put up with it.
6. This one probably isn't very well known, but it's another good little three minute pop song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LcyK-edUByk&feature=youtube_gdata_player
7. It's gotta be this for me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eu2iv-vMKT8&feature=youtube_gdata_player
8.

Can't tell if that's sarcasm or genuine shock
9.
The signature Fender bass he was talking about seems to have been ditched (see here http://www.bobbabbit...hp?topic=279.45). Whatever you think of signature basses, it seems a sign of the times that Biffy Clyro's bass player gets a signature bass (albeit a Squier) and Bob Babbitt doesn't!
You know Pete Wentz has one too don't you?
10.
Look, I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I'm just here to try and get some information on a bass I'm interested in, not indulge in any sort of musical elitism.
That was a genuine question, I use a Squier P bass myself so there was no elitism intended. I've just never seen a bass with only one control knob on it so I was curious.
11. I wonder why it has no tone knob?
12.
I should be able to get one to try out at Sounds Live, so that's pretty cool. I always feel like I'm being judged for my crappy playing when I go in there though. I probably ought to start saving up at some point, either way.
Crappy playing would be quite fitting on a Pete Wentz bass.
13. A Benson P copy I bought off eBay with an amp the size of a child's shoe box. It was a Decent enough bass to start off on I suppose, but the tone knob didn't work and the tuning pegs were antisocial. I managed to break Ol' Sh***y's neck by putting a set of gigantic flatwounds on it without knowing any better and ended up with a four-stringed bow, so I took it apart to see how it worked, lost interest in putting it back together and banished it to the top of my wardrobe.
14.
These may be of interest. Some genuine tracks and some dodgy ones. Unfortunately, Rain and Taxman aren't the real deal.
Cheers, working my way through them now. Christ, Rain is way off on that one! Taxman isn't quite right either
15. I really want to hear Rain and Taxman isolated but I can't find them anywhere.
16.
Aww, you beat me to it. f*** it. I'm posting it anyway. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vziriyVgk24&feature=related
Who can blame you, that's one funky ball of tits.
17. Mighty Boosh link imminent!
18. He can barely play, why on earth has he got a signature bass?
19. Sounds like they're a bit hit and miss to me. My MB4210 and the MBC115 cabinet have been absolutely fine so far, although it has only been seven months.
20.
And 'You Look Adopted'. Classic lyrics.
Who can forget 'I Lit Your Baby On Fire'
21.
Not many people qualified to sing that, but if you are - who's to complain ??
There's always someone ready to complain, it was banned off the radio wasn't it?
22. This thread inspired me to learn it, I thought I wasn't getting anywhere at first but I stuck at it and it comes out really easily now. Don't give up, I've been playing for the same amount of time as you so it's definitely not impossible!
23.
Deffo= yes
I know deffo means yes, but you put 'no' at the start, thought you meant definitely don't
24.
No Saw Her Standing There Deffo
Eh? I can't tell if you like it or not
25. I Saw Her Standing There or Day Tripper
