  1. They've got more than one song. I've checked the thread title too and the word 'great' doesn't feature, but, having seen them live a few times, I can assure you that she's a very good player.
  2. Saturn By the Dock of the Bay - Otis Redding
  3. That's a great story. My equivalent is that years ago I was playing at a jazz funk jam in Cambridge with a drummer mate of mine. A guy gets up and asks if he can play a bit of guitar. No problem of course. Anyway, this bloke is seriously good with such fantastic feel and groove. Afterwards I said to my mate 'He's a bit good. Do you know if he's in a band?' 'Yes' replied my mate. 'He's Rob Harris out of Jamiroquai.'
  4. Naomi Holmes from William the Conqueror. Saw them twice at Red Rooster festival and then again the other night in Cambridge. Cracking band and she gets a great bass sound as well as gorgeous backing vocals. See them if you can. They're on tour at the moment for a little while longer.
  5. Chowder You Do What You Do To Me - Freddie & The Dreamers
  6. You Tango Your Own Way - Fleetwood Mac
  7. Saw these guys last night in Cambridge. Seen them a couple of times before and never disappointed. Difficult to pidgeon hole their sound because they're rather unique, but a mix of Indie/Rock with a fair splash of folk I guess. Great songs with beautiful lyrics and the 3 of them drum up a great sound and atmosphere. They've got a few dates left around the country on their current tour and I'd highly recommend seeing them if it's your sort of thing.
  8. Refugee - Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
  9. It's a Family Affair - Sly & the Family Stone
  10. The Needle and the Damage Done - Neil Young
