Modern life innit. Just like modern cars where a small electrical failure can render it beyond repair, modern amps are packed with gadgets nobody ever needed before and potential customers are beguiled with a load of exaggerated flannel (much like fuel consumption figures 'cough' VW). The price of progress I guess.
