I used to do a run of Christmas functions for a local pub. The highlight came when some drunk half-wit loomed over my decks as I was playing THAT song by Slade for the 20-something time that year ' cor, wot a f g larf, every nights a party, ennit' . I swallowed some more Lemsip (I had something closely related to 'flu) and smiled benignly. 😎

Didn't the juke box have a behind the bar reject button, or was the Landlord brain dead ( they often are ) ? 😎

Our health centre has The Crusaders or something very similar as music on hold - I don't dislike it, but it gets boring after ten minutes or so. The majority of the 'customers' are soon to fall off the twig (thanks, Skank) & they absolutely detest it ...... 😎

About a million years ago I used to site amusement machines (Space Invaders stuff) in pubs. I lost count of the landlords who wanted me to supply kit (at my expense) in an attempt to attract clientele to a run down scruffy pub - I fell for it a couple of times on promises of how much they were going tgo put in. They usually left a few weeks later. Most publicans don't have a clue. 😎

A friend of mine has just bought an Epson tank printer for her business, she prints postcard size colour pics which she mounts & sells. Pretty happy with it so far. 😎
