Devon Live :
One of Exeter's most popular pubs has confirmed it is ready to reopen - but won't welcome customers back until it can be sure everybody is going to behave.
The Prospect Inn on Exeter Quay fears 'Super Saturday' could be more like 'Black Eye Friday' due to the nation's pent-up longing for a pint.
While it is finalising plans to get customers back through the door it won't do so until July 4 is out of the way. Instead the pub will wait until July 9 to reopen.
If I were still playing out, I would avoid the 4th July weekend like the plague (no pun intended)
every idiot that ever there was is going to be off their heads at a venue near you (music or no)

It's probably worth pointing out with all the shouting (not on here) about 'care home deaths'
that people are usually in a care home for a reason -
π
That's been not unusual since day one - it's unfair to whole sections of the population
that stuff like this looks suspiciously as if made up on the hoof.
(apologies for minor derail)

I would think Live Nation are slowly bleeding (financially) to death .................
As far as they are concerned, this has to be worth a go
(I agree with Dad btw)

I was programming juke boxes for a major leisure chain when that came out -
most of our boxes were in lounge bars, so that was one record less that week..........

Not if you've got size 6 feet like me, all mens socks usually are flashed 6 - 11,
which means they flap off the end of the foot - not good.
π
Do we get to turn this into a foot thread ?
