For the uninitiated - I worked part-time in a shop in North Harrow that specialised in things musical (esp organs) - they managed to borrow one from the Beeb (Paris studio?) because they were tied up with Jack Jacksons' sons (he was a big name with the Beeb)- I actually played with thing, and very strange it was - I think the Beeb had theirs converted for sound effects use .............. 😎

When I was promoting, bands used to do 2x45 + encores (if any). Big names (think Ben E King, Jimmy Ruffin, Desmond Dekker) used to do a contracted 60min, up to them if they went on past this - I think Jimmy Ruffin finished at about 2hrs!). 😎

I played at The Star & Garter in Windsor (the original Ricky Tick) a looong time ago & we had a guest group whose name I forget, but the Bassist was about 13 & the Ric was almost bigger than him (& yes, they were bluddy brilliant) .............. 😎

I've given it several looks & am pretty sure the opening is much like 'if the song of the songbird' - which was originally Manfred Mann 'Come Tomorrow' - but I can't find anything reggae that matches ................ 😎

I can't see the problem, look it up on t'internet, work out an average price & then consider if this is the right site to use - I've got stuff (no plugs) that I won't put on here............ edit - I'm reminded of a local forum to me that has turned into a massive winge-fest over banning dogs from a chunk of our beach where kids play, it's only for the summer & there's plenty of 'other' beach for dogs to use, but peeple can't (or won't) stop being outraged ............ 😎

Part of the chorus was 'dance, dance, come in a dance' as I recall - long time ago, but Natty Dread Come in a Dance is almost exactly the same riddim/tune. 😎
