3.
Around a year ago I tried to set up an endorsement deal with Rotosound for strings for my band, which consisted of them supplying strings for - - 2 Electric Guitars - 1 Acoustic Guitar - 1 Electric Bass - 1 Electric Mandolin - 1 Electric Fiddle ...and also drumsticks for the drummer. The deal they were offering was absolute pants, it would have actually worked out cheaper to strike a deal with a supplier than to get them direct from the company! So my advice is - don't get ripped off. If you all use the strings religiously, go for it, otherwise you might find that you're stuck promoting something that you don't believe in.
haven't checked this in a while but yeah whole heartedly agree...after getting in touch with them again and finding out what the deal actually entailed, what they were offering was gashtastic...
 4.
No contest - & you might be able to get some nice planet waves stuff like cables & SOS tuners by going with d'addario.
Planet waves would have been sweet but we're endorsing evidence audio cables instead shameless plug for evidence audio
 5. oops just realised i posted this as a ce24 it's a ce22...my bad
 6.
BTW did he flog his MM sig yet?
He hasn't but there has been talk of using obscenely low tuning on some of the songs so he may hold onto it i think. but this is our other guitarist One's got a CU24 & the MM and t'other has the CE which he's looking to get rid of for a caparison dellinger...
 7. thanks for all the advice! d'addario have also been in touch so gonna have a word with the guitarists and see what they wanna do.
 8. hey guys my band have been offered a small sponsorship by rotosound strings. We've never used them before and just wondered if anyone could offer any info or had any experience with them before we decide on what to do... normally use warwick emps or dr strings

 10.
TBH Peter there are several knowledgeable guys high up on the 'W' forum whether they are on the pay-role or not I don't know. re. who Warwick should employ - There-in is the problem, when the man pays your wages you sing what the man wants to hear; I have a lot of experience with Warwicks and I know the pros and cons of their basses, I know the range reasonably well and I can tell a duffer at 20 paces (OK that's a bit poetic ) and with impunity I'll discuss my views re. Wick jack-sockets or the occasional foible with truss-rod direction etc. but I'm not sure it's what they'd want to hear what I had to say. I'll happily give advice about Warwicks (especially the earlier models, I'll be the first to admit I have little interest in 'some' of the stuff Warwick ave produced over the years) on any forum... whether people want to hear what someone like me has to say is another matter. I gave that eBay guy advice re. what his bass is and it's value (bearing in mind the damage) but sometimes the truth hurts. At the end of the day a bass is worth what someone will pay, I have a couple of basses up for sale and I know what they are; to some people the relative values may be high but I know when something is worth £600 or £1600 regardless of whether it is my bass or not.
got back from warwick yesterday and there's gonna be a new guy back in warwick uk fairly shortly apparently
