  1. just listened to this and my remix version back to back, on reflection I think I prefer the 2013 remix as being more 'immediate' it just sounds a bit livelier to me. Not much mention of Snakes and Arrows I've noticed, I think Far Cry is a cracking opening number!
  2. Double thread Mashup, I have Green DR neons on my Yamaha BBG4S11
  3. I have the original and the remixed Vapor Trails and I have to agree with bassassin. the later version is a belter!
  4. I was pleasantly surprised by Clockwork Angels, but I still love Hemispheres most of all. probably cos that's the 1st I bought
  5. I remember following this build avidly...has it REALLY been two and a half years?? Maan I'm getting old..time goes by way too quick!
  6. That's my neck of the wood Aye, but this was nearer Thame......smartypants! 😁
  7. Last night we did a 60th birthday party for the landlady of a pub we played about 3 months back, it was in a barn, on a farm, in the wild depths of South Bucks, adjoining field for car parking and camping..there were a few there Hog roast and free drinks all night, nice, but 1 x 13amp power lead and no lights in the barn meant many nervous glances regarding taking out the power...but all good. Polite, but very appreciative audience until about halfway through 2nd set, when suddenly EVERYBODY decided they wanted to dance, including the 83 year grand matron of the clan, we ended up doing a 40 min encore including many songs we had already played but no one was oiled enough to dance to 1st time round. Absolutely brilliant night, and we got a couple of taps for future gigs as well. Breakdown was...interesting as we had to use car headlights to illuminate the barn once we had broken down our lights, people were still dancing in a field with cows when we left...I love my life!
  8. People have said our lead guitarist looks like Gilmour...not to sure....
  9. You now have your excuse....people have been killed, live on stage, because of this earthing issue.
  10. Luckily I've not been in that position, but I would say, stay in touch with the drummer, if you and he click, maybe start again, playing what you want.
  11. She is the Tal Wilkenfeld of the drum kit, she only looks about 12...how does she do that stuff.....jaw dropped!
  12. Sounded pretty good to me Blue...thats a nice gig you got there mate.
  13. Mine were silver velvet........and about 2 sizes too tight......I think I had camel toe!
  14. I picked up a Sterling SUB last year for about £330 new from PMT cos I fancied trying the MM style. Nice light comfy bass, but PU is very hot, so finding a clean tone was a struggle, just about got it sorted now, I happily play it with a pick with no issues, but I'm more of a fingerstyle guy out of choice.
  15. Played my favourite pub In Stony Stratford for the 1st time with current band, but they had us setting up in the bay window opposite the bar rather than out the back where there is more room. Although it was cramped, the atmosphere was great, and turn out was great as Silverstone is only up the road. A hot and sweaty night and it made a change to see the whites of the bars staffs eyes!! I also have a FB vid to show off, but someone has stuck some titles on it too...which was nice!
  16. Sounds vaguely Janes Addiction ..ish
  17. And not a black n maple P in sight!!! Nice one bud!
  18. No 1 all day long for me, although I do have a pedal it only has 2 sounds, my tone......and tuner!
  19. To be fair though, with that overbite, that was my initial thought too..then I thought, hang on... the scars, then I thought, hang on...he's died.....doh!!
  20. I have a Reidmar 250 which is just as loud as my Aggy TH500, I dunno how they do it really! I believe the Reidmar 500 is just a rebadged 250 with no actual changes to the innards...there was a post on here about it a coupla years back.
