  1. And a bubbly look to a Sub!!
  2. I have this vaguely steampunk look on a P bass
  3. The paint job on that one 2nd from left is gorgeous!!
  4. Andy just bought a Zoom B9 from me, our 2nd meeting, as before we meet up halfway, and as before he overpaid me to cover my petrol. This man is a legend! Always a pleasure Andy.
  5. I swapped out an Eden 4x10 for a Barefaced 2x10, my back thanks me, my ears thank me. In fairness, the sound of the Eden IS better IMO, but its very close. the Bf 2x10 is absolutely the dogs danglies, if you get one, you won't be disappointed trust me!
  6. That's creepy...we've just added those 2 to our repertoire as well, Go your own way sounds great with 3 vocals playing at harmonies, and the drummer has nailed Fleetwood's distinctive drum fills, bass line for addicted just ties my fingers up about halfway in, fiddly and repetitive! I'll get the bugger though lol
  7. I love how everyone gets into it! I envy you that audience!!
  8. I have 2 of these, very capable! https://www.thomann.de/gb/thomann_e_bass_gigbag_premium.htm
  9. Looks like John has made cables for just about all of us! Many thanks for carrying on from OBBM! John just knocked me up some solid speaker cables for our PA, fast and quality work, can def recommend!
  10. Listening now, very impressed, kinda Fields of the Nephelim meets dark Depeche Mode, love it!!
  11. Another Sennheiser user here, just an E840, that I bought about 12 years back cos the singer in the band I was in told me to, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing, but to be honest its been bullet proof, and seems to suit my style of shouting at the mic so I'm happy 😎
  12. The 2nd album 'Play It Loud' offers up some great songs, signposting the way they were headed. Shape Of things To Come and Sweet Box are excellent IMO
  13. The skinhead look was 'forced' upon them by the manager Chas Chandler as a way of them getting attention, none of them were happy with the look, and it was at odds with the music they were playing at the time, listen to any song on their 1st album 'Beginnings' its definitely not boot boy ska!
  14. For me the version of Comfortably Numb on this is the very best of the live versions out there! Of course I'm biased as I saw them at Wembley on that tour and the whole album brings back such memories
  15. Ha!....I'll take that, had a jazz bass a few years back, liked the sound and the slim neck, but hated the body shape, so this little project was quite exciting for me
  16. Not sure if this one even counts, it used to be a PJ Squier, my 1st bass as it happens, I refinished the body and converted it to a twin Jazz pickup with a Kiogon VBT loom and ironstone pickups and a new pickguard from @TimAl Quite pleased with the result and the tone is fun to play with given I like my P tones normally!
  17. Yup me too, they also have the colour coded attenuators
  18. I have a sub in oly white with the rosewood neck, I really fancy the look of that carbon fibre effect vinyl.......where did you get it if I may ask?
  19. I would have no issues...if I HAD a tee shirt with the band's logo on it!
  20. I bought a Jazz pre from John many moons ago, Given I don't live that far from him he invited me over and I spent a wonderful afternoon in his workshop drinking tea and talking bass and electronics, he let me touch his vintage Fender P bass too, must be worth a fortune, but he wasn't fussed, lovely man!!
