  2. Thunder seem to do some amazing covers, which my band covers....we end up basically with a far more rocky version of the original which usually goes down well!!

  13. My only issue with Schallers ( and I used em for 10 years or more) was the pull to release knob occasionally unscrewed and fell on the floor. bass was still secure, but it was a bugger to remove the strap if you lost the knob. Oh and the rattle, that used to bug me a bit too. Nowadays, having a strap per bass, I just use grolsch washers!!
  14. Cheers for the tip fella

  16. Thanks Blue, only an ancient camera phone used, but caught us in full flow!
  17. New venue for us, and only 20 mins from home for me. Was a VERY hot and sweaty night, but we had a great time. Not a huge turnout but those there were really enthusiastic. Hopefully we can get back! Oh, and we threw in an Alex Harvey number, Amos Moses, sung by our very Scottish Drummer, pleasantly surprised at how well it went down

  23. We were asked to cover a gig as previous band pulled out at last minute..obviously didn't realise the footy was on. had a bash at 3 lions but the drummer sulked (he's a Scot lol) Given the short notice we played a great set to a small but very appreciative crowd in the garden of the pub, plenty of leftovers from the hog roast too so we all got doggy bags (well in my case moggy bag lol)
