  1. I would probably see both incarnations if it were possible, but I would almost certainly enjoy ARW more due to Rick and Jon's presence!

  8. The acoustic of one place we play really doesn't like me hitting 'G' on the E string....yup they have a limiter there too...luckily we plug everything into another socket, not the one marked 'for bands use only'
  9. Oh man I laughed so hard at that, a worthy choice for quote of the week methinks!

  11. I have a BBG4 dating from about 1987, lovely tone, its a bit battered but its my go to bass a lot of the time. Currently strung with green neon strings!

  13. Thats weird, the rosewood looks darker than the ebony to me, I couldn't get it right by sound...and now it seems I cant get it right by sight either!! Either way I much prefer the darker looking fretboards over maple
  14. Whereas in the vertical plane would mean 'wind it up' i.e finish??
  15. Grrrrrrr! Its the Lane Theatre in Newquay mate, not exactly local, but a great venue and people. We did the gig for a local Parkinsons disease charity, the guitarists dad is a sufferer and lives down that way, his dad was there and it was the 1st time he had ever seem his son on stage..was quite a night and we raised nearly a grand! Not bad for a 140 seater venue!!
  16. Like this you mean? 2 Marshall stacks and a shed building Drummer and I could STILL drown em out at will!
  17. I just found this thread...my gob is well and truly smacked, who knew we had such a talented divil amongst us. fair play to you sir, and thanks for sharing, this has been a great read!!!
  18. Err Chris Squire!! Harmonies against Jon Anderson is hard enough, but playing Yes bass lines at the same time...frickin awesome!
