  3. Sennheiser E835 for me too, I found it more directional than the SM58, which works for me as I can go 'off axis' for all my sarky comments best not heard thru the PA lol

  6. I'm with you bro....bass to Zoom B3 to TH500 to BF 2x10...B3 is 99% on same setting and used as a tuner, never had a complaint, never felt dissatisfied, don't really care what anyone else thinks!
  7. +1 for support from Chris, i popped in to him after a drummer related receiver incident, and he was as helpful as a helpful thing..and he makes GREAT coffee!! Go Smoothhound with no worries, you won't be disappointed!

  19. The acoustic of one place we play really doesn't like me hitting 'G' on the E string....yup they have a limiter there too...luckily we plug everything into another socket, not the one marked 'for bands use only'

  22. I have a BBG4 dating from about 1987, lovely tone, its a bit battered but its my go to bass a lot of the time. Currently strung with green neon strings!
  23. Ha! just ordered another one of these today, to house the SUB I blagged yesterday!
  24. Thats weird, the rosewood looks darker than the ebony to me, I couldn't get it right by sound...and now it seems I cant get it right by sight either!! Either way I much prefer the darker looking fretboards over maple
