1.
They must have had more members over the years than we BETWEEN US have had hot dinners. Even I got roped in on a very temporary basis on guitar at a tiny festival in a very muddy field in Huntingdonshire. A pal was the actual guitarist at the time and persuaded me to "have a go" So long ago I cant even remember the chaps name but do remember I did NOT cover myself with glory....
Given the stories about how pernickety Robert Godfrey could be about playing things right, I'm surprised you escaped with your life!!
2. Me and the missus have seen the Enid a few times over the years, always different, always challenging, always enjoyed it. Not so sure now RJG has hung up his keyboards though.....
3. yer that's why stressed people are thin!! Must remember to leap about even more tonight!!!!
4. PM sent
5.
I`m in Hemel Hempstead, about 7 miles away from Berko.
Haha I was just about to suggest you Lozz, I'm only about half an hour away too. whereabouts are you SH73?
6. A haircut Karl?? That's a very pretty bass, and as you know I like my rosewood, but I'm still having too much fun with the last bass you sold me..GLWTS bud.
7.

Definitely loving that combo, and a brass nut to finish off..........hmm maybe the frets should have gold coloured ....*hides*
8. Yes yes yes.. Gold 'n' Brown is born!!
9.
The only thing I may have to rethink is the hardware colour. I've gone for black, but I think it needs something to lift and contrast. Probably chrome, but...would gold be too bling?
Gold 'n' Brown? ya know that might just work
10. Yup, I'm confused, as my Reidmar 250 produces 250 watts at 4 ohm..and yes it IS feckin loud, I got it as backup to my Eden WT400, which it blew into the weeds! Looking at the specs it seems to me they have just re badged mine as a 500.....poor show!
11. I have a4x10 XST which sounds the Mutz Nutz, sadly it weighs as much as the vets that removed aforesaid nutz! I won't sell it, but I rarely use it now. I also have a 400w Eden head which also weighs as much as a small outbuilding, ditto selling and using
12.
Yes - that works . Wonderful! I got to have a high speed taxi run in the tail gunner seat of a Lancaster a couple of years ago. Up there with the best experiences ever! I've got a YouTube clip somewhere - I'll post it if I can find it.
Maybe we should start a separate thread..this feels like a hijack!!
13. I always thought Jeff Healey nailed this http://www.youtube....h?v=A9K0l-hZeRA

16. Yup, well spotted, its on a Dolley so you can run it up and test it without it being mounted in a plane, I was lucky enough to fire it up and give it some wellie as part of a birthday treat visit to Sywell Aerodrome last year...a great day out and I got to sit in a working Mark VIII Spitfire and chat with the pilot, a red arrow display chappie. I have some video of same if I can work out how to post it!
17. Ye gods, it didn't take you long did it! .......luckily for us! Can't wait to see where this goes
18.
Rock solid and muscular? Lithe and propulsive? Relaxed and infectious? Dark and powerful? Deep and throbbing? Spacious and gnomic? Driving and relentless? Quick and quizzical? Warm and expressive? Depends which bass player you're talking about...
Gnomic? GNOMIC?? What the spong does that even mean?? I mean..a gnome playing bass, does he run up and the the fretboard or what?
19.
One of the 'bits and pieces' still to do
Aha! And there was me thinking you had somehow found a way to magnetically affix it to a bass player!
20. That looks absolutely awesome, beautiful work Andy.....Did I miss something re strap buttons though, cos I don't see any.
21. We usually start with a bit of Noodling in D, which sounds like us sorting out tuning, singist then starts intoning Roy Batty's soliloquy from Blade Runner over the top, changing the last line from 'die' to 'rock' ending with a snare crack and straight into She Sells Sanctuary at full wellie https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tears_in_rain_monologue We must have done it hundreds of times and it still give me goosebumps
22. Very welcome, something I discovered accidentally mid gig when I stepped back, went 1 bank down into a ferocious distortion patch which had the singer nearly wetting hisself in fright, fair made me jump too and took a few moments to figure out what the hell was going on lol!
23. Good luck there fella!....I hope there will be video!
24.
,but toggling between banks is too slow.
Press buttons 1+2 together to go down one bank, or 2+3 to go up a bank...simples!
