Worth coming along in that alone, always wanted to try a SUB. Will be there with pennies in me pocket for tickets!!
8. I have this from Thomann http://www.thomann.de/gb/thomann_premium_gigbag_eguitar_br.htm excellent bit of kit and 30mm padding too...AND dirt cheap!
9.
Yeah I`ll bring it along Russ - prob have my Super12T with me as well.
Ooohhhhh thats it..I'm in!
10.
The truth is that these songs come up a lot because a lot of people who go to gigs like them. A few of them are always worth having in the locker for a general covers band to pull out in need of getting a crowd onside when the original set isn't quite gelling with your audience. They could rescue your gig.
thanks Kev...I feel better now for knowing as many of em as I do
11. Oooh, I get to P'Boro quite a bit..I'm, def up for having a peek!
12.
I got fired from a band because I wouldn`t cough up £6000 to buy a rehearsal room. Apparently I wasn`t showing enough commitment.
THAT...is impressive!
13. Aarrgh...5 and 4 with current bands and 11 in total.......I am ashamed.......except for Maggie May and Black Night...love playing those two!
14. If Lozz is bringing his tone hammer along, I'll try and roll up with my Reidmar for comparisons, don't have anything really interesting to bring though
15. Interesting, I too use my smooth hound in conjunction with a B3, however, my Smooth hound transmitter is velcroed to the top of my amp rather than adjacent to the B3, and I can confirm there are no interference issues. What is this adaptor you speak of though? Just running 1 PSU might be handy.
16. looks great in Black, its the bass I really want to love, but not held one yet that hits the spot.
17. Love the colour of the body,,,,'kin gorgeous that is...just can't get on with maple necks, sorry. Good luck anyway
18. I've got one of the Thomann bags from that other thread http://www.thomann.de/gb/thomann_premium_gigbag_e_bass_br.htm I have to say for 25 odd quid it is brilliant, well padded, a variety of straps to carry it with, and feels really good quality! Go for it!!
19. http://basschat.co.uk/uploads/monthly_05_2016/post-12709-0-84872500-1462134300.jpg Needs moar flares!!
20.
Hey FinnDave, that's cool. Do it ! That bassline is well worthy of knowing it's story....... LD
Agreed!!
21.
Absolutely. The (Small)Faces were a fantastic 'feel' band, often so apparently loose that it seemed like a car crash was about to happen, but it never did. Give me this sort of joyous playing instead of note-perfect sterility any day!
Hell Yeah!!
22. My lot started doing this just before Xmas, and I was certainly a bit daunted when I listened to the bass line, finally just went feck it and noodled my own take around the chord sequence, always goes down well, especially as the singist drags out a mando for the finale!
