2. Pledged, very impressed with what I've heard so far. Can't wait for the CD!

4. Yup http://www.pmtonline.co.uk/bass/ The guys in Northampton aint too bad, but they suffer a bit from the 'oh you want a bass let me slap the f#ck out of it for 5 mins first' disease, which can be mildly annoying

8.
if you have a cat and a carpet covered cab then you absolutely NEED a cover!
This...if nothing else, this!

11. Just another reason why I never frequent the site and have no plans to in the future!
12. I tend to really dig in too, so nothing too low for me, just annoying.
13.
I prefer to use my own rig, but don`t have a problem using a provided rig is it`s a swift changeover type gig. Last night I used a Behringer Ultrabss, wasn`t bad, was an open-mic night so no chance of soundcheck or anything so got what I thought sounded right. Apparently not too good in the mix, so that`s the danger - the whole band end up without the right overall sound. Still, far happier to have done the gig (3 songs) with other peoples gear, than to have not done it.
here ya go folks you can now be the judge, a short clip I managed to grab off my phone! 14. Reidmar IMO is a great little piece of kit, I bought one as an easy to carry backup for my Eden head, but nowadays leave the Eden at home. The reidmar may only be 250W at 4 ohms but by god its loud. Together with my Barefaced Compact its a light but damn loud combination. Might just squeeze in on your budget if you go 2nd hand Hope this helps.
15. I had a peavey cirrus 5iver that I had to move on as it was unplayable for the likes of my sausage fingers, 16mm I believe, the Yam TRB5 I replaced it with is MUCH nicer!!
16. He made a great job of including the neckplate in the paintjob
17. Just browsed through the blog, great work Blue, damn annoyed I couldn't make it now, looked like a good day out, although all the slapping references did put me off a bit. Your pics helped cheer me up
18. I used no nails double sided tape stuff, from B&Q, solid as a rock at gig last Friday. happy bunny.
19. [sub]All my basses have Schallers fitted, not had a problem this past 10 years, mind you those marvel ones from Amazon look interesting.[/sub]
20. I was also part of the thumbrest crowd, great idea, well thought through and executed perfectly, very happy bunny here.
