2. I know what ye mean fella, 2nd band only started as I was trying to help a mate out, short term....a year later........
3. 1st come 1st served, works for me....so far!
4. Sadly for me its sweet child of mine, singer loves singing it, and I love the intro, and it just rocks along.....one day...one dayyy! Weekend of the British GP a coupla years back, we had a gig nearby and I dropped the F1 part of the chain into Radar Love...went down well
5. Wow good work, 2 black and 1 alu please, and yes I agree the smaller chamfer looks better.
6.
I've just placed the order for 20 off aluminium ones and 14 are already spoken for. I should have them around the end of next week. Cheers, Rich
# Woohoo!! not long to wait then!
7. I'm still in for a couple regardless of material, although I would prefer the black. Bung me down for the Alu ones anyway...2 please.
8. Like the SG? get an EB3 instead, 34" scale, mind you the neck is as skinny as a skinny thing on skinny tablets and they are headstock heavy too.
9. Granny Weatherwax has got it right if you ask me, 'Headology' is the way to go. I also have no issues reading so called kids books, not when they are this good.
10. Haha nice friends you have The Tiffany Aching books, were kind of written for kids, TP did a few like that, they are still cracking good reads for us big kids though !
11. read all TP's books so much I can almost quote em now, My favourite author! Love the Dark Morris with its prog time sig, and also We Shall Wear Midnight, which makes me sniff!
12. Brilliant Album, got it a while ago, permanently on in car!
13.
Got the dropbox files cheers McNach, I will get it drawn over the weekend and quoted on Mon then post up on here. They will be laser cut from either aluminium or acrylic and the edges will be as laser cut. They will need dressing, filing, wet and dry to your preference of finish but it won't take long for such a small part. I'm sure at a couple of quid or so each people won't mind a bit of hand finishing. I don't really fancy finishing a batch myself, I just don't have the time. Will update on Monday. Cheers, Rich
I'm still in for a couple of black acrylic ones, and stick on is just fine, I've even bought the tape......impatient....moi??
14. http://www.kmdstudio.co.uk/ KMD in Chesham, dunno if that's too far south for ya. Gary is a top bloke and has his fingers in many pies, runs 3 different jam sessions a week, plus rehearsal rooms too.
15. Blimey mate, take about big steps!, Gimme a bell if ya wanna meet up and chat.
16. Wasn't the retail price going to be about 200 dollars? Seems a tad OTT for a gig bag. I love the idea though.
17.
For all of their teeny-pop, glam & glitter, bog-rock, raucous, daft lyrics clothes and haircuts, loud anthemic image Slade did a fair few angst ridden ballads that showed a more mature side - IMHO natcherly.............
OMG that takes me back, was singing along before the 1st chorus, and I've not heard this in 30 years! I really must get a turntable and put ALL my vinyl onto the PC
18. Yup but B&Q et al normally do imperial sizes as well
19.
Hah..! Delusions of grandeur or self-flattery..?
Heyyyyyy I can do joined up writing AND read...a bit; obviously over qualified for a drummer, but what can I do?
20.
So based what BigRedX says, and the point made by Xilddx should I purchase the BC logo plectrums, even if their only value is for novelty purposes?? Also looking at BC Baseball caps BTW..
Bandmate got some made up with our band name on, none of us used em, for me they were too slippy and thin, guitarists found them too brittle. As you say novelty value only IMO.
