Yamaha barrel jacks ain't good, they never grip very well I find, its the same on my Yam 5 too.

Sorry bud, me too, had my smoothound for years and I use the same setup when plugging into my Yamaha (edge mounted barrel jack, kept falling out when plugged in directly)

I think the colour in the 1st pic is wonderful, I have a bitsa in purple burst, nowhere near as pretty as that though... -
