1. Top Man! I too thought like until, until 1982 when it was announce a 1 off special concert at MK Bowl, featuring all the original members, including PG. It was the wettest, most back achingly painful day I spent in my entire life, but when they all hit the stage..I was in heaven!! I have a bootleg of the gig somewhere, a lovely reminder of a great day.
2. Thanks bud, thats pretty much what I thought, but would hate to give him duff gen and blow up his new toy...or worse his cab!
3. So if its a pre amp, he still needs some kind of power amp between it and his cab? He don't want to use his Marshall valve head, any suggestions as to what he should use? Cheers!
4. Anyone ever heard of these? http://www.avid.com/US/products/eleven-rack_2/features#overview Guitarist friend of mine blagged one cheap and ain't sure what he's got! Can he connect such a thing straight into his Marshall 4 x12 cab? he's trying to avoid using his Marshall valve head completely, will he need some kind of separate power amp? He's asked me and I have no idea.....over to you oh great and sage basschatters
5. If you are playing acoustically, that fret noise seems very loud, but when you are competing against the rest of the band, you really don't notice it as much.
6. Can't find one for a galaxy note 2 dammit!
7. DAMN...I wish I still had my iphone!
8.
I am dying to hear this show! But being in Australia I can't receive the broadcast! Is it ever recorded and podcast later or anything like that? Is anyone thinking of recording it themselves? Help!!!! 13. For once I agree entirely with BRX and for me...old is good!
14. Oh wow, loving that 2 tone sunburst, and it looks so much better with the black scratchplate than with Ash's tort one! Shame 500 sovs is a bit beyond my reach
15. Well I liked it.......I don't give a monkeys what you lot thought!
16. A brand new Squier P pro..ie it has a jazz pickup at the bridge, I loved it to bits until I blagged a 2nd hand Yam I fell for instantly, I recently dug out the squier and stuck a fretless neck on it, only then realising how bad the neck was, like a damn ski jump in fact. I still gig the yam regularly!
17. 1st gig with my 2nd band, but was in a pukka music venue rather than setting up in the corner of the local. WHAT A BLAST! Such a wonderful sight to see a packed venue all jumping about, punters falling over themselves to get to a mic and sing along. I reckon we could have played all night if we had more songs ready to roll! Maan I wanna go back there!!! Fox and Hounds, Stony Stratford, I salute you!
18.
In the last band I was in , we payed blues , performed by engineers , it kind of lacked spontanaity and dare I say musicality
Damn.....I'm an engineer
