1. I enjoyed the original clip, but for the Battle for Evermore clip knocked it sideways, THAT one was simply awesome, just the two of em on stage, with no back up, and they Nailed It...Excellent!!
2. My drummer went on this, although a huge fan of Prog, I fully expect to be bored rigid next time we meet up
3. I was up for a B3 but when I went into my local shop, they had none, but did have the B9-1Ut for a bargain price, a bit bigger (understatement) but I love it, and it had a the expression pedal which is handy for volume if nothing else. I get a lovely valve growl now, brilliant!
4. Some prog compilation thing that came free with classic rock mag, all the rest of my music is on a memory stick, about 8gigs worth
5. That is abso-fecking-lutely gorgeous...is it heavy?
6. Blagged a nice set of DR neons of Andy at a steal of a price, top man he was too!
7.
God, so many prog bands! I like: Grabthroat Shinkicker Truckstop
Surely a Terry Pratchett character? Given the age of my lot, we considered Still Warm Still Life Still Breathing
8.
What's happening with the fella on the maracas? HE looks like he's speeding his tits off!
That'll be one John Evan, erstwhile keyboard player and part time loon
9.
Start with your best up tempo song - end with your second best. Put the ballad in the middle and follow it with the novelty song. Job done.
Hmmm novelty song eh? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=htdvdm7cJnA
10. Well nee norred that goat person! I can you have been practising..keep it up, that is all.
11. We feature 2 or 3 of his songs in our setlist, damn fine player, we will miss him
12. Nige you have SUCH a way with words...I feel guilty now....which was your plan all along I'm sure. *scampers off to at least check out the composition comp*
13.
Of course some are just knuckle dragging puddles of loon & you catch for these all the time
I just GOTTA nick that...sheer poetry!!!

15. I have his waistcoat! wore it Sat night as it happens! its not me though.
16. I had one for a while, loved the look and the feel of it, just couldn't get on with the 16mm string spacing, for some reason those missing 2 0r 3 mm really made a difference. Happily for me Basschat saved the day and I found a buyer and a seller so I still have a 5iver, and its one that suits me to the ground
17. Interesting idea for a programme, I have to agree though the covers were too much orchestration, would have been better to see 4 guys trying to do it. I preferred the originals. Ian Brodie sounded rough...or was it just me?
18. My 1st fiver was a gorgeous Peavey Cirrus BXP, but I couldn't get on with it because the string were spaced so close I couldn't play ANYTHING. I sold it and bought Pete Young's stupendous Yam TRB5 which had a much wider string spacing and even with a 34in scale I found it SO easy, as others say just play it like a 4 string and as confidence builds you will find yourself dipping in and out, before you know it...total integration.
19. One of my very own that me and my Dad used to sit and listen to many ....many moons ago. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Nebe1zuEtbc
20. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gator-21x10x5-inches-Controllers-Effects/dp/B0002GL7ZO/ref=sr_1_2?s=musical-instruments&ie=UTF8&qid=1360778170&sr=1-2 This was the one I got, B9 fits perfectly
21. Octave up?? I thought there was only an octave down? must go have another look. Also I think you can manually add the gain to the 'z' axis on the expression pedal, so by twisting sideways it increases the gain...kinda handy hafta say though I am loving the SVT sound!
22.
Started out life as a natural body with aged tint, as much as I loved the look of this I had to move it on as it was sooooo darn heavy.
That...is....absolutely....GORGEOUS!
