1. I bet he owns a gallery...no...wait......wrong forum....
2.
I'm not really sure why i answered that question as i can't stand Mike Oldfield. His sodding Tubular Bells gets right up my nose and every girl i knew in the 70s had this dross in their record collection.
Show that man the door, he obviously has no class!!!
3.

You never gonna beat the Bonzos, sorry guys FF nailed it!
4. although I have 5 basses 1 is my homemade fretless, 1 is a 5iver, so the majority of my gigging should be split between the Jazz, my beaten up ole Yam with the green strings, or the Epi EB3 I bought from BC. I love the Epi, but is a bit of a 1 trick pony, The Jazz is great, especially with the John East pre fitted, buts its heavy and I get an annoying 'clonk' off the E string which I have yet to sort out. So my battered Yam is still the best bass I have ever bought...for peanuts, and is always the one I reach for 1st.
5. Erm..as for the looper, I think if you press and hold the F2 footswitch this clears the memory of the looper and you then just select another patch using the bank up/down and/or the footwsitches 1-4. You could also change the effect by turning the top left rotary switch (labelled TYPE I think) this scrolls through all the patches in order.
6. As far as I can work out, pick a patch thats close to what you want, then hit the F(unction) 2 foot switch to put it in manual mode. This should light up the LED's on the bottom 4 foot switches, solid if effect is engaged or flashing to show it isnt. By tapping the switch of the lit LED's so they flash, you should now have turned off ALL effects for that patch, hit the save/swap button and save the patch to a slot of your liking. They start at U01(U for user, P for preset ie pre stored ones) Does that make sense?
7.
this was the original before the monkeyboys nicked it =
Pure Class
8. Tnx all, decision made, bag ordered, nice work
9. The B9 isn't too loose inside the Gator bag? they do a slightly smaller one that would seem a better fit. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gator-Purpose-effects-keyboards-GK-2110/dp/B001GE5TAU/ref=pd_sim_sbs_MI_2
10. Stunning Playing from Nige, I didn't have him down as a Yes man!
11. Cheers Bert, will have a peek. Thanks Skinny, I see what you mean now, I didn't even think of them in that situation, so you call up the patch, switch to 'manual mode' and pick /choose phaser or distortion or whatever as required? Will have another play tonight!
12.
I'm currently playing around with the Live Sound1 patch to tailor it for my gear/playing style and see if I can also add in the PedalSynth (see above for comments re lack of keyboardist) - I need to try it at rehearsal but once I have that set up, I can see it being the go-to patch I use for the majority of live stuff
Couldn't quite get my head around what the 'live sound 1' patch actually IS, although I've only had 1 play so far, can you enlighten me dude?
13. Was actually hoping to test drive a B3 yesterday, but as local place was out of stock, ended up twiddling with a B9, so...2 hours and a parking ticket later..I haz a noo toy! Spent whole evening playing some more, def more versatile than my old ME20B...bigger though....need to find a bag big enough to store it! Gonna take a while to organise meself totally, but I have a handful of patches setup for this weekends rehearsal...great stuff!! very happy..............................................apart from the parking ticket.
14.
Two years ago?!? Crikey. Can't believe it's been that long. If the death of a person moves or affects you in such a way that you will always remember where you were when you heard the news, then I think it is an event that is worth remembering. For me that list is short (apart from family and friends of course). Gary Moore is one of them. As is John Martyn. RIP both.
On my way to first ever gig with current band, our stand out song that night was Midnight Blues, still a regular in our set, keeps his memory fresh
15. Don't ring my bell sorry the Spinal Tap ref is not a good thing IMO
16.
I once had that years ago the reaction "Thanks dad" worked a treat. the guy laughed & was from then on on our side
Filed THAT one away for future reference!!
17.
A sh!tload of gear and no talent would be the summary
All the gear, no idea eh? I'm sure someone has that in their sig....its a great line
18.

I really have NO idea what this is all about.......
19. Absolutely no idea which is which, but in order of preference I choose 1, then 2, then 3. 2 and 3 sound too bright for my liking. Nice choice to play, I do like Radar Love, its always in our set!
20. That's cool, I wasn't fishing, I was half considering adding my name to the list coming to the palladium gig was all.
21.
To those kind fellows who said such nice things and said they would like to come to the next gig in Bideford, I won't be there... It didn't work out for us...
Is that as in..left the band? Shame if so
22. Fair point, wasn't a dig, just one of those songs I equate with fingernails down a blackboard, sorry.
23. Well THAT didn't take long did it.
