2. 2nd bass I ever bought Another Yam lol, they seem to be popular here, a BBG4 S2, a bit dinged up, its had various decorations, but cracking notes just fall out of it.. I love this one
3. Scariest thing ever, especially if monitor is loud and I can hear myself. I can just about manage BV's cos I can hear the singer and it gives me a note to aim at (I usually need a run up!!) Lead vocals are ouit of the question, rest of band usually collapse in hysterics before I finish a line! I keep thinking about lessons...one day......one day..
4.
It's too quick (drummer's fault!), but here's my band doing Wichita Lineman. Sounds best in headphones.
Sounding real good there mate, your lady there has a sweet voice! My mum was a big Glen Campbell fan so I would have first heard this when I was about 8, those haunting lyrics have stuck with me all my life, and the song still has the power to make me go all melancholy Brilliant!
5. Blimey I never even knew I had me own feedback thread. Cheers for the kind words guys!!
6.
Dont practice until you get it right - practice 'til you dont get it wrong
Now THATS one I could live by! excellent!

8. HA! my bass career also started as a 'mid life' thing, albeit at 43 +several for Yamaha basses, I have 2 now and they are the best things in my armoury, better IMO than my Fender Jazz. You guys sound great, fairplay to you all! ooh just listened to some of your other songs on You tube.....Times Like These...well played sir! I introduced that song to an old band and none of em could get that 7/8 time sig nailed Welcome to basschat, post often, and the more random you are..the better you will fit in lol!
9. Whens the wedding.............oh wait........did I read that title wrong?
10. Boss ME20B, which is used mainly for compression (90%) and the volume pedal. Other 10% is either octaver, a bit of flange on a couple of Lizzy numbers, or a tad of overdrive to try and emulate a valvey sound(not that good really) Had it for years, used it more when I was in a band with just 1 guitarist to fill out our sound.
11. Dava picks http://www.amazon.co.uk/Plectrum-Dava-Grip-Tip-Pack/dp/B00154OJOI/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1357499618&sr=8-1 That is all
12. Well I've not tried the TC, but I bought a reidmar as a backup for my Eden 400. Eden now stays at home as the reidmar is simply stunning, very full rich sound and incredibly loud for an amp rated at 250W at 4 ohm, blows the Eden into the weeds!
13. My beyerdynamic is still going strong after 5 years, I would say get one of those!
14. I thinks its more than just the goats who are worried!!
15.
My local music shop is hit and miss.
Is that the 'other music shop' in Milton Keynes?...Ronnie is usually the friendliest geezer goin
