Just checked band website, I see the live Album on there, great choice of tunes, and YESSSSSSS Easy is on there!

Curved Air....my all time fave band since about 1972!! Seen em a few times...including MK stables a coupla year back when Darryl had one of his hissy fits and you guys played a load of songs of my fave album Air Cut...Spoke to Sonja after. apparently she heard me whooping and hollering for all the Air Cut choons! Fairdeal in Brum aint too bad, handily located for me right under our Brum office! Also only 2 mins from New Street station Staff are friendly enough and don't hassle you at all, prices can't beat the internet, but they do have a fair selection of stock. was looking at 5 strings last week and managed to have a noodle on a Fender Jazz, 2 Yamaha's, an Ibanez and a 'ray.

I have in the past avoided the monthly comps cos they are usually pics ones and my photo skills are 0! This evening i thought WTF go have a look at the votes page see what its all about, and I was blown away by the standard of the musicanship displayed. After listening to all the music I made my choice then scrolled through all 11 pages of this thread, to discover the whole range of ups and downs..it reads like a script from Eastenders!! I have to say I was not aware of anything other than the music. I couldn't see the results before I had voted so your comment re tactical voting might be a bit wide of the mark Nige. All in all I am astounded that so many people made the efforts to produce some wonderful music, and were happy to share here on this forum, kudos to you all.

Both my guitarists have now got 'hot plates' for their Marshall heads and I think we now have 'the look' but keep our hearing..and our audiences! Ansd for what its worth, I think you did the right thing and are best shot of them!

Thank the lord you said that, I watched mine last night and spent ages checking my sourround sound settings, I thought my gear was on the way out! loved the fillum, and all the little nods winks and smirks over slipups etc. yup they still got it:)

After looking at that Video and following links I've found the Whole 'six of the best' concert from 1982!!! Audio only sadly, but memory provides the rest! Excited? hell yeah, I was there..in the 3rd row...getting soaked and stoked at the thought of seeing Genesis WITH PG...something I never thought would happen. Thats my evening sorted then. Played with SAGE my covers band Fri night, it was our 2nd anniversary, had a great time, we come from all walks of life, with 1 old pro musician and 3 weekend warriors, I cant believe 4 guys randomly meeting could fit together so well, long may we carry on!! I like this thread Nige, good call!

Not a 'strange sounding' song at all, its very good, and personally I think the pace is fine, it rocks along very nicely. thanks for putting it up dude!!

My oldest is a Levys suede one, 9 years and counting, best straps around IMO, all mine are Levys bar 1 which is hi viz orange with reflective stripe!

Lovely tune, enjoyed it. Hafta say though, thats a stunning looking bass Nige, what sort of finish is that on the body? Looks like its been dark chromed!!
