so are you asking if you could make your own neck from a headed neck? I think the only person who could answer that is you, depending on how confident you are in your woodworking skills perhaps?

For what its worth, every HS stingray is actually HSS when you take the scratch plate off. There's an extra single coil under the scratch plate which is normally used as a hum canceller for the single coil.

Abe does it for me, I just like the guys approach and the way he fits incredible technique into the song so musically.

Principles don't actually take into account the sound of a drummers cymbals, having to compete with a vocal monitor being pointed directly at ones ears for most of the performance or having a sound man who turns up the sub bass to cater for room acoustics at one venue and turns it down at another. The GK wedge worked really well. We had one twat last week who came up while the percussionist was actually playing mid song and he started playing the congas as well (although that instance wasn't a blue collar gig). They all start off on their best behaviour but once they get a bit of booze in them, their social judgement goes out the window. We've had kids on the drum kit in the past as well but an uncle or something was there supervising them. The drummer is normally a fairly placid chap so tolerated it well.

This is a bit insane but Phil_the_bassist has offered me the use of two extra bass stands. So potentially I could be bringing the following: Spector 6 Smith 5 Smith 5 fretless Celinder P Celinder J MM Stingray First time I haven't bought any graphite necked instruments Trace V8, GB Shuttle 6 and EBS Neo212 still coming.
