Its possible to list the membership using the [url="http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?act=Members"]link[/url] at the top of the page by gender. But many members haven't listed their gender including a few members that have already said they're female on the forum. Probably a total of slightly less than 40 declared laydeez out of over 3500.

However part of the problem with any library is that it needs someone to organise the information so that searches deliver consistent results. Modifying the site directly makes it difficult to update the forum software.

I really don't like double pickup stingrays. Its not because I'm a purest but its because I think they have gotten so much wrong with the design. The HS version has a highly variable output level depending on which coil options are selected. Just using a preamp with input buffers would sort this out. The neck humbucker on the HH sounds gutless to me as well. They could wind the pickup to have more impedance to it fattens the sound up a bit. I'd suggest go buy a Lakland if you want stingray sound with another pickup. Or, have a chat with John East?

have you looked at MAudio?

Gene Perez is kind of like the NY equivalent of Julian Crampton in London - the industry's first call funk/house session bass player, primarily by association with a known producer. For Julian Crampton it was Joey Negro, for Gene Perez it was Louis Benedetti. Gene has his musical roots in latin music if I'm not mistaken? I've seen one clip of him playing on Youtube: Whats interesting is Gene's close working relationship with a keyboardist - I can identify with that approach quite closely myself.

I think its relative depending on which component you will be relying on most heavily and which will give you the greatest benefit. If you play a really skanky bass and its holding up your development then it probably makes more sense to invest your money in a better instrument. Having said that, isn't it possible to split the money a little more evenly between the two ambitions?

That one at Ravens Ait was probably the worst one we've had to date. Even the AC/DC power adaptor I use with the Deep Impact pedal quit working!
