1. Bargain - EBS don't make crap.
2. Bump - one operates at 1733.38 mHz, the other operates at 177 mHz.
3. BUMP - remarkably, I've also just discovered I've got a replacement bullet truss rod nut (rare as hens teeth, these). I'll include it with the sale.
4. Try this...?

I'm seriously unhappy with how Vail Johnson has been treated on this thread. We don't expect boot licking when Pro's do come and visit but if you don't agree with anyone on this forum, make your point and step away from the keyboard. It's the mature thing to do and it would be nice for the wider membership...at minimum the 1699 other members who visited last month, to feel like they can access a range of experience that is broader than pub gigs and the summer festival circuit.
6. This year has been the most active for the last 5 years. Out: Celinder P Classic, EBS Neo212, Eventide Pitchfactor (as part of a wider sell off) In: Pangborn Warlord, Status Series 5000, Yamaha MSG (x2), Ibanez TSA5, Genz Benz Shuttle 6, Zoom B3. What I learned: Finally learned how to set up my Shuker Headless 6 MIDI for use with an external MIDI synth module. Also learned that there is now a disconnect between what I aspire to use and what I can realistically use given all the demands of fatherhood on my time. Acknowledged there's specific body shape that I will always find more comfortable to play on (and it's not a shape designed by Leo Fender or Ned Steinberger), so why fight it...? A Jaydee will probably be back on the cards later this year but it will be a five string, not a four.
7. This is going to be a great guitar for someone. Yamaha don't make crap.
8. One sold, one more left.
9. Lovely! I need the room...
10. Sometimes he gives lessons when the gig diary is looking a little thin.
11. Or Armstrong - they will do custom wounds also.
12.
I used to love Jamiroquai but after Synkronized the band ceases to exist for me. That marks the point his ego went through the roof. It's quite funny to see how successful they were, that style of music wouldn't even get within a million miles of the charts today (not that the charts mean anything anymore) yet, Stuart Zender made me pick up bass so I'll always have a soft spot for them. I always felt sorry for Nick, such a great bass player and a seemingly top bloke. He was always on a hiding to nothing following Stuart and given that Jay Kay became more controlling and egotistical over the bands songs, I think he did well to last as long as he did.
A few years back we used to chat on Facebook while he was immobilised after a skiing accident. Nick left the band for a very specific reason that I can't go into on here.
13. Nick Fyffe had at least two Zon Sonus 5/1's that I know of - a white on and the one in the vid above. I like Jamiroquai but the band never seem to smile or have much fun on stage.
14. There could be a whole load of reasons including a problem with the desk, a problem with the amp, a problem with the DI socket. A bit more elimination is needed before you're likely to get a helpful response on here. Borrow a DI though and see how you go. Play the bass direct through the box as well as plugging a feed in.
15.
Thought it might be time to show the current collection From left to right Kramer era NS2 SSD era NS4 NS5LX Euro5
Did you buy the 5XL off here a while back?
16.
Mmmm. what necks are these?
Gaze apon my signature and all may be revealed...
Dog skint at the moment pal, and will be until March!! Your necks were the inspiration, I'm not sure I'll be able to afford one. Just want to get the body ready first and then I'll scour the market for one
In this kind of build, the body is the element that everything else is attached to. Generally its a better idea to assemble everything else and then build the body.
17. Two necks left if you're interested in purchasing one, Alex.
18. The pickups I had custom wound add extra low emphasis below 50hz. It's an absolute peach of an instrument. I was planning to post some clips after Christmas was out of the way.
19. Damn, what a shame...noone will ever fill his shoes.
20. Fingers still crossed!
21. Humpty bumpty - will take £1000.
22. Humpty bumpty - will take £400 a cab excl shipping
23. Humpty bumpty - last time.
