Nice '75 3TS Precision bass (TV logo still)
Mickeyboro replied to Clarky's topic in eBay - Weird and Wonderful
Nice! Funny how many people replaced the stock pickups in those days... Not unlike my own, but with no buckle rash. Mind you, you don't get that in the loft. -
Bit like Clarky, we hung around so our drummer could get his arm back working properly (ligaments, I think). He then decided he'd rather be a dad than drum, having fathered a child in the meanwhile - despite being the youngest grandfather I've met. 'I want to be a better dad this time around' - what can you say to that? But while this was going on he'd been moonlighting with a previous band! Drummers, eh? can't live with 'em, can't live without 'em.

Don't know how to say this, but it looks like your kid's been nat your bass with some felt tip pens.

Worked with Charlie in the Eighties. Charming man, and so knowledgeable. If you're interested go to www.cherryred.tv where there's a lengthy and recent interview with him.

I'm interested in the 1989 Fender signature thing as I have an '89 L-1000 with Leo Fender signature on. Anyone know more about this controversy?

My Band Lazy Playing at the Magnesia Bank, North Shields, Sat 13th March
Mickeyboro replied to Davy's topic in Gigs
Don't mod your Precision - no need to mess with a classic. And do you play Message In A Bottle in the recorded key? I'm having trouble getting up to the high notes! Good luck Mick -
Sad indeed, but it's already been covered here: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=79040
Worth clicking the link though!

Can't help. Bobby but since I have a similar and reliable piece of kit I am struck with terror! Will be looking at the conclusions of others with interest. Good luck!
