  1. My 1971 Fender precision bass was bought in 1981 and I have the receipt. It is however worth ten times what I paid for it. Which figure would you pay out on?
  2. Another painless transaction on an amp. Colin is a dream to deal with, thanks mate.
  3. How many strings does he actually use?😂
  4. How can you, Paddy - you’re separating our twins! 😂
  5. Interesting Mike - somewhere between Donald Fagen and Todd Rundgren?
  6. Now if it had been salmon pink... just a yellow!😁
  7. You’d have been sacked from the Shads turning up with that!😮
  8. Be interesting to see how that compares. I have two BF One10s and am considering an Elf...
  9. Colin travelled halfway round the M25 to buy my Barefaced cab, and is a straight up fella. Deal with confidence. Thanks, mate.
  10. I was surprised how many notes Dave plays, Pete, but without seeming over busy. Also, saw on YouTube he played a P the previous night in Pontardawe, so Is clearly not wedded to one guitar. Recall seeing him once play a Lakland J first half, P second half...or was it t’other way around? Anyhow, you have good taste old chap!
  11. Just to revive the thread, Dave was playing a Lakland Jazz (modified bridge?) with Andy FL at Wimborne last night through a MarkBass 18 plus head. He was excellent as always!
  12. I have played this bass and can tell you it is a fabulous creation! Whoever grabs it will not be disappointed...
  13. The Jazz pickup is a mod, right?
  14. Curiously it states £129.99 in the description! The higher price plus 9.99 postage elsewhere...
  15. Tull's latest box set - four CDs comprising album (CD1), out-takes/bonus tracks (CD2) and a previously unreleased 1980 concert (CDs 3,4). Then two DVDs with the obligatory SurroundSound etc mixes. Not to mention the heavily illustrated mini hardback book. Here's all the bells and whistles... https://burningshed.com/jethro-tull_stormwatch-fortieth-anniversary_boxset New, sealed copy. £22 posted.
  16. I had a fretless Gherson Jazz as my first ever bass!
  17. Metal-fronted Super Compact with Roqsolid cover, blue trim. It’s in immaculate condition, gigged but never pushed. The ideal one cab solution... has never let me down, but my needs have changed. ON HOLD 1/11/19
  18. Tried one in a shop last week, but didn’t rate it as highly as the GK MB200 I own. Theres s difference in size, but I go for the GK sound any day.
