    I found this preferable to the 1x15 of the range, and reckoned it would be a good-value buy in the second hand market if a touch overpriced initially. My review was tweaked to read more favourably as the mag I wrote for was keen to keep in with the advertisers. Which is why I don’t review for them any more... 😩 How much did you get it for, if it’s not a rude question?

    Saw BC on their second gig ever at the Rainbow. Caught them as I had missed Free. They were so loud I walked out at the end and was nearly run over by a bus, so discombobulated was I... Good show though. And they did The Stealer!

    The 102 served me well for several years in a four piece function band. Never needed to go through the pa and liked the monitor shape directing the sound up. Only got rid as it was a centimetre too big to manoeuvre into my Toyota Avensis boot.

    Not her fault but I’ve had a down on Ms Twain ever since a band I was in was requested to play Proud Mary. I pulled the lyrics up on the iPad only to find some loon had input Man, I Feel Like A woman.... 😩 A performance to forget!

    I mentioned in another forum my Radio Shack battery practice amp, bought in 1999 and still going strong. Uses a battery the size of a half brick. Tried to replace it but was struck by remorse... is used every other Thursday for uke bass on Irish session. What have you owned the longest (not a bass or guitar) that still helps you make music?

    Of course! I bought to replace a 30 year old practice amp I bought from Radio Shack (remember them?) I use with my bass uke. It runs on a whopping brick size battery, which is a pain to replace so I thought I’d move into this century. Unfortunately the Vox is far too nice to sling under a beer soaked pub table at an Irish session, so - feeling I have been disloyal to my old amp - I am resisting bonding with the glamorous newcomer by passing it to someone who will use it! And Stewblack is that person... have fun with it!
