Co-written with Joel McIver, this is all you need to know (and a lot more you didn't) on the man who links Deep Purple's family tree with Joe Bonamassa, Ozzy, the KLF and sundry other rock greats. Oh, and Lars Ulrich wrote the foreword. The cover is worth the money on its own...

    A band I was in used to take Tupperware containers to hoover up what was left at the end of the night.     I have a few spare (mint) copies of books by my late great friend Deke Leonard in my cupboard, and it strikes me they would make great Christmas presents for those who like reading about 70s rock music (Maximum Darkness) and/or guitarists of all eras (Twang Dynasty). They are currently unavailable except for silly money on eBay or Amazon Marketplace; I will sell at the regular price and chuck in UK postage. A search of Deke Leonard on BC will find many fans of his witty and informative style. Charles Shaar Murray said "I wish I could play guitar as well as Deke Leonard writes..."
