1. Just seen them at wembley and go along with Lozbass - there was just not enough of him in the mix and the Jag didn't really impose itself. On the whole, though, what a show - and the sep US drummer standing in for Zak Starkey was flawless. Vintage Trouble were odd. For the first half of their first half-hour I thought they were a piss-take. Mind you, last support band I thought that about was the Darkness!
2. He's a prawn, FFS! Don't be shellfish
3. Lord the drummer thinks he's Bowie. I'm boycotting my licence fee!
4. I had one like Eric's. A great posing bass! But I find EB-3 more comfy
5. Straining to hear any bass on my Travelodge telly
6. Traded a bass with Julian. A fine man to do business with.
7. Was that not Gary Valentine? If so I agree. But they all fell out with Glenn and Don...er Chris and Debbie.
8. Patrick Moore? How the mighty...etc!
9. Jim Davidson? How(e) the mighty have fallen...
10. Rhinos Winos and Lunatics - Deke Leonard. Seventies rock excess with humour.
11. Going to see her record a BBC4 session o Monday. been a fan since 1974 but never seen her n concert before (bar 3 numbers with Little Feat). Turned down a Neil Young ticket same night but sure it will be worth it.

15.
Tony plays with two guys out of my band every Tuesday, if I ever pop over there I'll ask him...
But he wasn't on the album
16. Damn this phone! Briley played both hence the 2x neck. In fact I believe he was a six stringer by trade...

18.
I can't remember them ever having a guitar player on their recordings. Am I wrong (I know it's unlikely but it has happened before)?
19. Greenslade were the first band I ever interviewed as a student, 1974. We'll never have a guitarist, they said. They lied...
20. Ah, got wrong end of stick! Tony Reeves used precision on first three, can't remember what Martin Briley used - you could be right!
21. Sorry, crap answer typed on phone. Not their best album, and I always thought them prog rather than jazz.
22. My mobile says 'is that a classic j...' If jazz album, ok. It doesn't measure ip to their first 3 rock albums either IMO. If I am wrong in my guess, apologies.
