1.
I have serious doubts a 2x12 can get close to a good 410
i beg to differ my super 12 is both louder, and cleaner than my previous setup (swr goliath III 4x10 and swr big ben 1x18) and can easily mathch the bottom end with a light touch of EQ its also a quater of the size and just over a quater of the weight too, something to consider. Its hands down the best cab i have ever used and cant recommend them enough.
2. im only in lancashire, if you wanna try a super 12 you are more than welcome to try mine. ill be giggin with it in bolton this sat too(details in the calander), if you wanna hear it cranked.
3. bargain! great basses for this money unfortunatly i have too many basses already.
4. if you like fast hard metal, anything jari maenpaa (wintersun) does is awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ULQX440uvEA

6. Rane DC24, iv had loads of different compressors and the Rane kills em all, in my honest opinion.
7. my inner monologue, full of thoughts today, maybe its the rain.
8. the same thing happened to me this week with an EBS HD350 on gumtree, luckily i spotted the dodgyness and reported it. watch out this seems to be quite a common thing at the mo.
9. you dont see many of these knocking about.
10.
No sign of him on gumtree anymore
yeah i reported it as soon as i knew it was dodgy! Evil B*st*rds!
11. Well, it looks like a scam to me, cant get through on a phone or seem to arrange a collection so they offered to deliver, i then got a fairly convincing looking email from 'Parcel force' i work for royal mail and spotted immediatly the the email address is all wrong and they were asking for a UKash voucher payment which i know that royal mail dont use. so BEWARE! for the record the name on the emails is Nora Palmer, avoid at all costs!
12. well spotted, ill have it if its still there, messaged! cheers jaybass 70!

Acoustic's

if you are on a budget yamaha are pretty hard to beat for value
14. i use a collection of alesis/pintech/roland/yamaha and homemade pads with a megadrum dedicated midi trigger module for info check out http://www.megadrum.info/ i have tried most electric drum modules and the best is the roland TD20 but just for midi inputing the megadrum performs just as well (and far out performs yamaha/alesis etc) and it was only £165 brand new. i have worked with several drumers that said it gives the most natural expressions with the sampled kits that they have come across.
15. oh well, too far for me. have a bump for a great piece of kit!
16. there are great little combos with a lovely warm sound, great price these sound excellent as a digital drum kit monitor. where are you based? (i wont assume dorset as i have heard some very misleading nicknames/screen names)
17. we used to play a drunken party game called 'smell my finger' Good times!
18. i get to gig mylovely palm bay bass for the first time tonight in sunny doncaster, the lineup is AONIA Faraday Concept Slander most importantly its Free Entry, so anyone local should come down for some ale and a bit of a laff, all in the name of Metal! at the Hallcross pub.
19. Evil Scarecrow do the best version of the final countdown, and the thundercats theme too.
20. +1 for dv247, they match any online prices too and use the best couriers wich give you a text on the delivery date with a 1 hour delivery window, very handy!
21. +1 for red 5 stuff, i have the valve mic and its great, easily as good as mics that cost double or triple
22.
Look under the underside of the neck. If it's the "Sims" method, a small route is made along the length of the fingerboard. Depending upon how good the job is depends upon how "invisible" the job is. Anyway, this route enables enough space to put in wires. Once the neck has been fitted with LEDs, a small slither of wood matching that removed is inserted and glued into place. A quick rub down and a blast of polyester finish and a final polish... job done. Have a look - I'd be interested to know if this is the method that was used on your bass.
iv had a look and can see no signs of this technique, so hes either very good or there is some other way.
23. jack phillips in bolton fitted my green front and side leds, did a great job, not quite sure of the techniques used but he claims he doesnt need to remove the fretboard. if anyone knows exactly how this is achieved i would like to know too.
