  5. i have a pair of Zoom Abyss Wildzap Water effect lights going unsed at the mo im making some space so £60 for the pair Bargain they have a few scuffs from bieng moved about but nothing serious both in good working order and the bulbs have probably had about 5hrs use they are 250w halogen bulbs which are brighter than the LED ones (unless you spend silly money) great for those chilled out song sections they cycle between various coulours but can be fixed on a colour of your choice Collection only due to weight and fragile nature of the bulbs (darwen Lancashire) the blue pic is a stock photo showing the effect as i cant get a great pic with my camera in the dark [attachment=90357:lights.jpg] [attachment=90356:blue.jpg]
  6. it is VERY good, easily hands down the best i have ever used for bass you can use it as 2 single channels or as a mono dual band compressor (compressing the low frequencies seperatly from the highs for a more even sound) it takes a bit of getting used to as there are lost of controls but i have a PDF copy of the manual to help. it is very transparent so it wont colour your sound but will tighten up the bottom end and smooth out the peaks nicely you should be able to achieve what you are after easily with a bit of tweaking.

  9. cant seem to get a photo uploaded this is one from a couple of weeks ago, its the unit above the SWR Workingpro 700 in the rack [sharedmedia=core:attachments:88061]
  10. i may regret this but im reducing my rack down so i have a Rane DC24 compressor (for many one of the best compressors available for bass guitar) very versatile unit, pro studio quality. it comes with original power supply and is in perfect working order there are some tipex marks from the previous users settings, im going to try to gently remove later today but if they are too stubborn they dont effect the use of the unit. £100 collected, will happily deliver at cost ill get some pics up asap.
  11. i tried on of these in a shopabout 8 months ago and was not impressed! it had a very wooly sound with no definitionat all. it was all low-mids in a bad way and it didnt seem very loud for a valve amp either, with those valves in the power section it should have been shaking the shop! i play it for about 5 mins and couldnt get anything close to a pleasant tone even the guy in the shop was surprised at how bad it was. it could have been a bad one(faulty) but if so that doesnt inspire confidence either.
  12. i have a spb-3 in my homemade bass oddity, i use it with an aguilar obp-2 preamp it is the best p bass sound ive ever heard i doubt you will be dissapointed.
  13. I got my Super 12 T today, after a quick play im very impressed! im officially converted, Alex is a genius!
  14. for ampeg toltex contact an ampeg dealer see if they can get it direct, i did that for my marshall they needed the serial number before they would supply it, i assume to make sure i wasnt making an ampeg copy seem original.
  15. if you try it yourself its easy and could save you a lot of cash just take your time, i did a marshall 8x10 for the first time (full recover/piping and grill cloth)and it looked better than a new shop one and it was much easier than i expected.
  16. Very nice, im expecting my super 12T on thurs!
  17. 1 day left on ebay so last bump £100 if you can collect
  18. they have proper rack strip to screw into and are stiff but not as solid as aplastic case Do a quick search on ebay for 'rack bag' in the musical instruments section, there are loads on there to have a look at they tend to be quite cheap used but if you want to trim it down get a fabric one not the leather style finish.
  19. a lightweight rack bag a stanley knife and some velcro an easy solution could be knocked up in about 20 mins easily and most of them have pockets ample enough for the other bits. i have done somthin like this before but dont have any photos anymore unfortunately. if you can get a used rack bag cheap i can do a sketch of what i did for you. if you are local enough i have a 4u slightly worn one you can have free
  20. Bump, open to offers, on ebay too!
  21. I played one of these recently and was mightily impressed, a great bass especially for the price have a bump!
