1.
I am just about to order some shorty Stingray-type bridges. They should be here in a couple of weeks. [email protected]
Sorry to hijack the thread but Dave I have a quick question, Why you never had 5ers in your builts? I was lusting for one of those Stringray thingies you make but none were 5 strings which was a bummer.
2. Don't know why but when I look at that bass Grace Jones come to my mind. Maybe because like her this bass is: - Black & Beautiful - and I bet it makes crazy and lovely noises.
3. Just remember, no sound clips? Never happened
4. What are you looking for? I might be interested
5. Don't know you guys but the more rehearsal rooms I visit the more appealing Jamhub looks. Have a friend in the US that got one for his band and haven't looked back since. I'm planing to get one soon, can't stand all the rehearsal rooms in my area. If the sound is not appalling then it's the equipment that is crap or a combination of both and resist to pay for a "full equipped room" only for me to need to bring my gear and get billed in the process. No way Ramon! or it was Jose???
6. Yeah EMG BQC is the way to go, EMG Pickups with any other preamp tend to sound too sterile.
7. All really depends on how big is your band, when we put it together I found that I needed to change the line a bit to cover more ground as we are only 3 musicians in my band and well the killers have 2 keyboards so this means you have to play less. So take that as a guide and modify from there if needed. If you need it I can send msg a youtube click of how we do it. I used this to learn it http://www.songsterr.com/a/wsa/killers-somebody-told-me-bass-tab-s10088t2
8. My count still he's more talented than me

17.
It's in my manual I'm sure, from memory it's 80hz in normal mode and allows down to 37hz when you engage the LF button. This topic is always followed by an argument about why I have a five string bass if my amp only goes down to 37hz......
I have the same filter in my Peavey Tour head and with it engaged the B string sounds tight and clear without boom. The theory is that B strings generate a lot of boom in the 80hz frequency range so they cut it off to avoid it.
18. Dude go Peavey and you'll never see it die! http://www.gear4musi...o-Amplifier/U6R In your price bracket, weights less than 20kg and is 200W. What more to ask!!! And for £159 you can get this one http://www.gear4music.com/Guitar-and-Bass/Peavey-MAX115-MKII-Bass-Combo-Amplifier/U6S Weights 22kg and 300W of pure Peavey power!!!!
19. Congrats mate, I was wondering where you were some days ago! Nice to see "The Mighty Thor" is still around and making great music.
20. To be honest I don't know for the life of me why oh why they had to change the old MiBass for this one. I tried the old version and fell in love with it right away. Lots of tonal options, good power, portable and looked great. This one I tried it and hated the sound. I'm waiting for one of the old ones to appear, I'll buy it in a heartbeat.
21. Is this still available? whereabouts are you?
