  1. Right, photos time. My Stanley Clarke.
  2. You're welcome to pop over whenever you want squire.
  3. Clearly, you don't remember playing my Stanley Clarke?
  4. I'm still in. Have bought nothing except strings.
  5. Not to mention SGD Lutherie. If you fancy a bit of pickup fraud that is.
  6. Yeah, that's true Si and I have and do do that, but for whatever reason the whole fusion genre just turns me off.
  7. Yes, but the Mesa Boogie stuff is expensive due to West side Distribution being price gouging creeps. Darkglass stuff is made in Finland which is still in the EU so why would we be getting battered for that?
  8. I hasten to say, I don't subscribe. I'm puzzled by the lack of rock/metal stuff. All the content I've seen is jazz or fusion based and is just too polite for me and much too clean. However, my indifference to the genre probably has a lot to do with this viewpoint.
  9. My Wounded Paw Battering Ram EQ was only £150 and it slays this stuff. £250? For them?!! Ashdown have obviously had access to the "Markbass crack warehouse" before deciding on pricing structure.
  10. It is cheeky charging more if you're already subscribed. I'm sure folk will pay it. If it was something I felt I wanted to know I'd pay for it. No problem. However, I don't, so I won't. Whilst I've never met Scott, the marketing crap does seem to have went overboard not to mention the totally clickbait videos. Whether it is rampant greed or if Gary Willis wanted some decent cash and production costs meant he had to charge, I'm sure it'll get resolved one way or another.
  11. I'm not a snob. I'm a grade A a*sehole when it comes to this stuff. Is VK better than MB? Yes. Without question. That's not me justifying the price tag. Just my truth in relation to experience. Were the VK cabs awful and overpriced (cough, Aguilar, cough) then I'd sell them and admit my hubris and buy something else. Thankfully, I haven't had to do that yet. Besides, it's your fault I bought the 2x12 as your 2x10 VK was fantastic! 😎
  12. I certainly did like it. So did my private orthopaedic surgeon. 😜
  13. That's crap for a start. You sounded great through my VK. 😜
  14. So, after a while working on this I finally put out my solo album. Mainly progressive type material. I've embedded spotify below though it's on all the usual chnnels such as iTunes, Google, Amazon, Tidal and CD baby. See what you think. Opinions on a postcard to the usual address.
  15. So what can you see on the screen? Does the stuff all have to be programmed whilst hooked up to a PC or Cam you just programme the modes on the fly in use?
  16. So what's the functionality of the 8 switches then? Patches? Blocks? Everything?
  17. My Vanderkley 212LNT is a one cab solution and totally kills. Barefaced are great as well. At this price point there's not much to choose by. I chose by aesthetics. Luckily the sound fitted me better too.
  18. Nearly 4 grand for a bass that looks like a melted banana? Yes please! Er, no. There must be a warehouse full of crack at the markbass offices.
  19. Something big enough to make a Trace Elliott elf a viable amp choice. So absurdly massive.
  20. I'm still in having bought nothing. I am nearing it though as one my bands nears gigging. Might have to get a pedalboard then, but we're still a way off that yet.
  21. That looks painful and you're not selling this experience to me. Your left shoulder is at least 4 inches lower than your right. The biting of the lips in obvious pain. Eyes closed just "trying to get through it." The clenching of your bum through tensing up with the pain which prevents you from sharting into your pants with the effort of holding up most of the oak in Northumberland. Then there's the opiod addiction....
  22. How is that sumo? Any good? Is it really 1000w or just displaying peak at 1khz?
  23. I must admit that I like both the vintage and modern sounds. Though I tend to use mine with the bridge pot pulled for the grind. Which quite frankly is phenomenal.
