  8. is the truss rod adjustment in the headstock or at the body end of the neck reason i ask is that i have read some [i]"internet reviews" [/i]posted a few years ago that moan about difficult truss rod adjustment yet the pics i have seen look like it adjusts at the headstock end
  9. thinking about buying a new bass and have always liked the look of the [i]marcus miller jazz [/i]but.... have read they are fantastic if you play mostly slap but not so good for finger style rock/pop and so on have any of you owners or ex-owners on here got different opinions on this? am looking for a [u]low action[/u] and a bass with [u]decent low-end[/u] also, any opinions on the [i]geddy lee jazz [/i]would be welcome as i am also interested in that too cheers mark

  18. i have had many accidents/injuries during my time, many cuts needing stitches and broken bones needing mending but that finger injury was more painful than any of those didnt help that when i went to A&E in my posty uniform holding the end of my bloodied finger...... the nurse jokingly asked: "[i]how did you do that...did a letterbox attack you[/i]?".....and i replied "[i]yes[/i]"....she nearly wet herself laughing

  20. i have been in the same trade (window fitter) for the past 12 years so work with power tools every day returned to bass playing about 2 or 3 years ago after a break of many years, but only playing at home joined a band about a month ago and since then, whilst at work, i keep finding myself thinking [color="#000000"]"[b]if this drill/driver/chisel/saw..etc,etc....slips, then thats me buggered for rehearsals, gigs[/b][/color]," etc dont know why, as i have never (touches wood) had a bad work related injury whilst in this job anyone else have similar thoughts or am i just a bloody weirdo before my present job i was a post man and [color="#FF0000"]nearly lost the tip of my right hand middle finger [/color]in a letter-box related incident

  23. never been one for effects but am considering giving them a go want to start cheap, then if i get into it will obviously upgrade any opinions on HARLEY BENTON stuff.......thinking of getting an octave pedal
