1.
Welcome to the SX brethren here at BC. Swap them out for Wizards ASAP!!
yeah, am gonna go for the eighty four`s noticed you are also essex based as am i where did you get the work done or did you do it yourself?
2. yeah checked pick up height, also checked pots and no loose wires! however...wether they are wired correctly i wouldn`t know as i am no tech expert, would think they probably are though. even as it is, this bass sounds really good..... good sustain, good clarity, punchy sound...........so much so that i was expecting to have to change both pups but may now only change the neck one for added bottom end amazing bass for the £`s
3. just arrived today and gotta say i am very pleased with it very good bass on its own merit yet when you consider it cost only £80, its a fantastic bass for the money only complaint is that i have noticed neck pup is considerably quieter than bridge pup, probably half the volume, and doesnt really add thud not bothered as i will probably change pups for wizard 84`s soon but wondered if this may be a problem with volume pots? that said, any advice or opinons will be appreciated

11. just ordered a SX jazz bass and i expect i will more than likely change the pick ups. any recommendations on a decent pair of PASSIVE jazz pups? dont wanna break the bank as this will be a back up bass, i also want passive as my other bass is active. i have only recently started playing again after a ten year break. when i was playing, EMG and seymour duncan were quite popular.

13. i have a tanglewood canyon 1, its a great bass for the money. great to play, great sound, suits all styles, especially slap. agree with above post about sitting down and wearing strap as to the shape of the bass. have not played a 6er but the neck on the 4 string is definitely NOT neck heavy
14. looking for a cheap jazz copy under £200 have heard SX are (maybe) ok any comments on them guys? how do they compare to squier`s.... as long as it plays well, am willing to change pups and hardware
