1. Second transaction with Mel who has just bought a cab from me - very easy to do business with, would recommend no hesitations.
2. Sorry Bassmansr I missed your post - the 102p is sold. Pic added for the 151HF.
3. I'm sure I Am Not Excane has got one of these amongst his massive boutique collection and iirc he really rated it.
4. I couldn't listen to it all - not my bag. What I heard did have its moments though. But I can recognise that he's a serious talent, to be able to play like that, totally off the cuff - and to keep it interesting for people who do genuinely love that kind of music - wish I could do that!
5. 102P on hold pending payment.

7. Congrats on your new cab! I'm looking at going down the barefaced route so any reviews / further thoughts would be gratefully received. Can't decide between the compact or the super 12, decisions decisions!
8. Established heavy Rock band Face for Radio are looking for a new bass player. They have some quality tunes, interesting basslines and are a great bunch of lads. Many influences from Hendrix, RHCP, Tool, White Stripes, Led Zep, Metallica etc. They are looking to continue gigging with a view to getting in the studio in a couple of months time. If you're interested PM me. ta.
9. And here's me thinking a bit of bubblewrap and a bin bag should do the job!
10. Thanks for the above. I don't have the original boxes but will pop into local music shop on saturday and see if they have anything spare.
11. I'm looking to post a couple of my cabs and am wondering if anyone has any tips on packaging - what to get and where to buy? I'm selling a 2*10 and a 1*15 and likely posting via a courier. My initial thoughts are bubble wrapping them to death but I'm not sure. Never posted a cab before. Anyone got any tips?
12. Phnarr Phnarr!
13. If I can sell my Markbass cabs I'm gonna get one of these. It sounds perfect for my needs. Not sure if I need a tweeter though.
14. Ignore me - I misread the last post! Glad its worked out for you!
15. No probs mate.
16. Genuinely interested but I presume you're not up for posting it? I'm too far away from you to collect.

Wolf Bass

Lovely bass!
18. There's never gonna be a 'best bassist' poll that everyone can agree with. It's a completely flawed concept - far too subjective.
19.
Isn't the idea that you can't really hear it? It's getting rid of the rumble you can't hear in the first place, so your speakers can work more efficiently, no?
I get ya, but shouldn't a more efficiently run cab sound noticeably better? Sorry if I sound sceptical here - I'm not at all. Like I said, I've been tempted by this pedal before - its just that there are few demos and reviews to rely on. I think it may be more of benefit if your speakers are farting like Dannybouy said.
20.
Though I've not heard it in person, in principle it makes total sense. Here is a video demonstrating the visible effects.
Thats the thing - you can see the difference - but can you really hear it? I like the idea of optimising my rig and have mulled with the idea of getting one of these for ages. Still on the fence.
21.
Jealous! I want one
Me too. Just not sure if it would make that big a difference to my sound?
22.
Ibanez soundgears are a pleasure to play, I tried an sr500 when I was last looking and it was great to play on but I don't remember it sound particularly brilliant, was a long time ago
Try the more recent SR models - they have the same feel but a much improved tone. I was pleasantly surprised by this myself recently.
23. Yes 2 - A 70 something Fender precision in Dolphin, Liverpool, going for £2500 a couple of years ago. Probably the nicest bass I've ever played - and I generally dislike Fenders! The other was my friends Shuker Jazz, he bought and sold it really cheap, another fantastic bass but I just didn't have the spuds. Someone on here got a real bargain.
24. I've still got my trusty SR500, had it 20 years and it still plays beautifully. I tried a new model several weeks ago - the feel of them is still great, the neck fantastic but the pick-ups are miles better than the older ones. Very punchy and you can get a variety of tones out of it. They are incredibly good value for money IMO.
25. Why not just buy a TB looper and have all the effects on one signal path and bypassed on the other?
