I'm definitely interested in this bass. Anyone have any idea of the price range?

Wow - these look awesome. I do love the original mustangs with the stripe and I like these even more! I like all the colours too!

I bought a Super Twin not long after they came out - that must be around 8 or 9 years ago now. I still love it. Sounds awesome and is still in great nick too.

I like it in red - and won't look as dusty as the black one.

A good few years I had a non-EHX pedal which did this. I asked a similar question either on here or TB. Somebody posted that it was the capacitors or something building up a bit of charge. To dissipate it and stop the pops, I used to mute my pedal channel between songs and stomp the pedal a couple of times. It was almost pop-free after that - not perfect, but much better. Might be worth giving a try.

I think the Comic Strip presents series really nailed the silliness of metal lyrics with the Bad News episode. They went on to do an audio album which I had a copy of back in the day and the lyrics were hilarious - and funnily enouh, I've heard similar used genuinely on many occasions since. I can still remember some pearlers like: "Eat my brain - go insane" "Ride the rat, night mare man" "I'm a warrior the blood won't wash away I'm a warrior, I'll kill myself one day!"

I think you would be bonkers to trust the protection of a bass on a soft bag for air travel. Unless you don't care about the bass that is.

That's the thing. As lovely as it is - and it really is, you're in custom made bass territory at that price.

My band rehearses twice a week although we are flexible with this if members have other bits to do or are away etc. Also, they're my friends and the music's good so I don't see it as a chore at all.

I like loads of different finishes; olly white with a tort guard is up there, I like nice natural woods too - and quilted maple with a nice colour finish.

Not heard of these before - but that's stunning.
