err i've got another little giant like the amp in the first picture thats a little worse for wear still not as bad as the ac30, the roost is the worst condition head i've had

Why would you add overdrive or distortion to an alembic bass?

not all overdrives completely destroy the original tone of the bass. -

i use a file and take the top layer off so you can solder to it with no problems..

Best place way to get clean sounds out of any amp is master on full and use the gain as a volume control

any reason you want an 18" speaker size doesn't reflect how low it'll go and generally 18's are very ineffiecent. you'd be better going for a pair of 15's or twelves.

What year is your one i've seen the mesa 400+'s wired both ways. Does it blow fuses without ANY valves in? I think it may be time to take it back to your tech.

The orange is also voiced for more low mids, so it'll generally sound like theres more bass going on. Matamp are technophobes best way about it is phoning jeff up and having a bit of a chat

did you use the correct value of fuse? The new valves may have been pulling far to much current and taken the fuse.

i don't think you'd be able to fit 4X15" speakers into a 4X12 marshall cab are you sure it's not always been a 4 by 15?

it'll do 200watts clean - its a 200watt amp. 200watts is more than loud enough to gig with IMO

The special designed transformers are overdimensioned and all materials carefully selected to perform at a maximum level - at all times. haha i love marketing mumbo jumbo, why didn't they just put over speced? Do respect them though for understating the clean wattage as opposed to claiming it'll do way more like some other companys like to do.
