umph

recently bought a sound city120 it was fine when i was trying it out on 8 ohms but as soon as i took it home and put it on 4ohms its really noisey like static what could be causing this? and can anyone recomend any good amp techs around sheffield?

yeah my mates a sound engineer to, and he always says you can't polish a turd! he also hates behringer / crate stuff due to it putting out huge amounts of white noise that you just can't get rid of

get a bassballs they sound like lasers in one, should try out a fuzz in one to

go for a p bass

musicmans and j basses just aren't as bad ass as rickenbackers though

i've played a tobias before and they seemed nice enough so +1 on that
