1.
^ This. You might also want to try using Audacity, which is free software and a good place to start out. It's not a DAW but can be used for home recording just fine: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ I personally use Reason as my DAW, but it's not to everyone's tastes and isn't the cheapest of the bunch (around £300) - I'm just very familiar with it and like to stick to what I know! http://www.propeller...roducts/reason/ In terms of interfaces, I use a Tascam US-144mkII which I've found to be VERY reliable for the money (around £115): http://tascam.com/pr...mkii/downloads/ ... however, if I was to buy a new interface, I'd probably opt for a Focusrite Saffire 6, which gets great reviews (around £150): http://www.focusrite.../saffire_6_usb/ Hope that helps. And be sure you post your recordings on Basschat! There's also SoundCloud group for sharing music that you might be interested in: http://soundcloud.com/groups/basschat
Thanks Very helpful

13.
Two Vanderkley 1x12 EXTs. It's an exceptionally light and powerful rig, but I'd go for one of the larger Vanderkley cabs if I was going to change.
Finally someone who runns Vanderkley cabs. They were the first cabs I well for on the website (Bit pricey but the demo on youtube )... What are they like? Are they worth spending some extra cash on?
14. Thanks mate What cabs are you running It through?
15. What about instead of 2x 112 OR 2x 210?
16. Has anyone got a Genz Benz Streamliner 900 and if so (even if not) What are your thoughts on the head?
17. Will it be loud enough for a rock gig with a guitarist rock a 4x12 and 2x10 cabs? :/
18. So the cabs I should look for with the 210, 112, 212 configs are ... Vanderkley, Aguilar, Genz Benz, Mark Bass, Bergantino and maybe TC?
19. nice Thanks for the info
20. So 2x 210's are best then? And How do you lot rate the TC cabs? The RH210? or RH212?
