1. Hoping to pull the trigger on an Ibanez Promethean P5210 combo soon but was just wondering if anybody has any ideas of how I would use effects pedals with it, bearing in mind it doesn't have a loop. Obviously, plugging straight into the input is one way, but for your chorus, compressor type pedals a loop would be the best thing to use. Any ideas of a way round this?

 4.
Hello everybody! I should be gearing up soon to buying a bass guitar body to start serious work on a bass build, but I have normally been looking at American companies such as Warmoth at prices and specs. Is there anywhere in Britain that could build a very simple alder jazz bass body, no thrills, and for a relatively decent price? A body for about £150 or less would be very good! I am also considering doing the finishing myself, practice permitting. Thanks for reading
axesrus.com
 5.
Hi all I have a used EBS NEO 110 speaker for sale. in good condition, sounds great and plenty of ouput for such a small speaker. I used to use it alongside my 112 run from my EBS HD350 but use it very rarely now. Your more than welcome to arrange to come and view/hear it first before you buy. PM with a sensible offer if you are interested. It will be local pickup from north Manchester (just off J17 M60) Thanks Gary
Hi, you'll need to post a price, it's the law!
Jesus, it's a sad day when a band like Fishbone can't sell enough tickets for a gig. Unbelievable.
 7.
Anyone else going? Haven't seen them for a few years, very stoked.
Just got back. They were fantastic! Surprised but chuffed to see Big Walt back with them as well. The sound was fairly rough but that didn't stop me from jumping round like a 17 year old again! Loved it. Random Hand were good as well, from what I saw.
 8.
Selling my well looked after EBS rig. Basically looking to sell at about half the price I paid for it a year or so ago. The UK importer/distributor of EBS was based very close to where I live so I have had all of these items serviced several times just to keep them in tip top shape, so be assured that they have been well looked after. TD 650 Head 650W RMS with a 3U Rack Case £700 Neodymium 2x10 1000W PRG CAB (just had one brand new speaker put in by EBS within warranty) £375 Neodymium 2x12 1200W PRG CAB £420 I'm happy to sell any of the items separately or together. I'm based in Brighton and anyone is welcome to view/test/pick up the rig. I can organise courier if anyone wants, but obviously this may prove expensive, so do bare that in mind. All questions and comments welcome. Matt
9. Price-wise I'm looking for £750. I'm interested particularly in a 4 string fretless Stingray or a Lakland Bob Glaub but feel free to drop me a line if you have something to offer. Why don't you swap it for Damo200's 20th Anniversary Stingray fretless 4, then he can trade your 5 for my Pedulla Pentabuzz, then I still have a lovely fretless 5 string and enough cash to buy a Promethean 210 combo, we all get what we want and everybody's happy!
 10.
Strange that Fender only fitted part of the transfer to the headstock, is that normal for painted/matched headstocks?
+1.
 11.
I have a Genz Benz Shuttle amp for sale never used outside my house less than 8 mths old still got full warranty purchased from Bass gallery not using it as got the 1000 watt shuttle looking for £550.00 alone with my lakland bass both together asking for £1050 good saving ring 07977 492279
Mark at Bass Direct is doing these for £590.00. That's a brand spanker for only 40 quid more. Just saying is all.
 12. I've just looked at those pics again and come to the conclusion that even if I didn't need a fretless five string I would have to buy this bass on looks alone!! BUMP.
 13.
No Sadowsky love?
Plenty of love, just no money around it seems. Everyones selling and no ones buying. Finding this to my cost as well! Good luck, though. It is a fabulous looking thing!
 14. 'Tis really nice, I agree. What is the string spacing at the bridge?
 15. £2800 to buy new and more photos BUMP!!

 17. I thought I had a buyer for this but deal hasn't come off so still looking for a new home! It breaks my heart to do this, but I need to raise funds for 2 basses so I've decided that I still need to sell my lovely 2001 Pedulla Pentabuzz. It's the top of the range AAAAA flame maple model (see photos), 19mm spacing at the bridge. The poly finish on the neck was removed by a previous owner, this doesn't affect playability at all, in fact you can buy them from Pedulla without the finish as an option. It's in great condition, just a few TINY marks here and there, only what you would expect from a bass of this age but certainly nothing major. It comes with the Pedulla case but minus the truss rod tool as the last owner kept that for his now luminous green MVP! You can get them from Manson's for 18 quid. Anyone who has played one will testify to how great these things are. They are widely regarded as one of the finest fretlesses you can buy, along with the Wal fretlesses, and as the photos show this one is a real stunner! I got it in a trade last year and it stands me £1350 which is what I want for it. I will post if required, pm me for quote. These don't come up for sale very often, in fact this is the only AAAAA flame one I've seen on here. Don't miss out! EDIT; Just inspected closely to check for imperfections and found 3 tiny dots on the back of the body, two match head sized indentations on the control cover on the rear and two even smaller lacquer marks on the front upper bout. You need to look pretty hard to see them. The gold hardware has tarnished a slightly as well but overall I would still give it 9 or 9 and a half out of 10. PRICE DROP PRICE DROP PRICE DROP!!! WILL TAKE £1295OVNO. NEED TO MOVE FAST!! EDIT; WOULD TRADE FOR AN IBANEZ GWB105 or Fender Marcus Miller Jazz (or both) with cash my way.
 18. I'm trying to upload some photos but the attachment manager says the file sizes arew too big, 28MB, when they are only 1.7MB. I have old attachment photos in My Controls and was wondering if these are what's causing the problem. However, I don't seem able to delete them. Help!!
 19. Gotta say, I thought you'd lost your mind when you decided to go for this, but it looks great! I've no intention of doing the same to your lovely old Pentabuzz though. As an aside, did my old Vigier get sorted out?
 20.
These are the absolute business! I had one and wish I'd never sold it. Yes they are heavy, but oh the sound.......
That's not heavy. A Hartke 4.5xl, now THAT'S heavy! (ooh, my poor back...)
 21.
Hi all, I have for a possible sale or partx my aged 2007 Sandberg JJ 5, I bought it a couple of months back but have decided I'd rather have two basses for the price of one! After recently buying a 4 string bitsa Jazz from here I would like to get another 4 string Jazz, but lined fretless to accompany it. The bass is 35" scale, balances fine on a strap. The pickups are non standard giving more of a vintage vibe, however with the active/passive options the bass has a wide set of tones available. The tone control also works when in passive mode. I have the original tort pickguard that will come with the sale. Price wise I'd like £750 collected for it, new they are £1400 + extra for the hardcore aging. I will be loosing out a bit on the price it cost me so I'd rather not budge. I would however consider a partx for a 4 string lined fretless Jazz bass (what have you got? bitsa, fender, fender drone etc all considered) + cash my way to make up the difference. This bass has done the rounds on here and if you ask any of the other owners they will tell you how good it sounds! Any questions just PM me. The bass is available to try before you buy in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Still can't afford it. Good luck!
 22.
I am just wondering if anyone out there owns or has played a bass with a fretted Ebony board? I know it is used on fretless basses quite a bit, but I dont see many fretted Ebony basses. Reason I ask is that I have a squier with "Ebanol" fingerboard which is like a dark simulated synthetic ebony and it has amazing punch and clarity and the strings seem to be permanantly bright on that bass. I just love it and want to know, if this is what Ebony sounds like, does it have similar charatersitics to what I loosely described? I played a custom guitar the other day with an ebony fretboard and it was beautiful and I now have real GAS for Ebony Jazz.
Yes! It was actually for sale a few months ago, but got next to no interest so I'm keeping it.
