1.
So my AZ arrived last week - not had a huge amount of time to play it but first impressions are very good. Fantastic build quality and the tone is exaclt what I was after - the AZ EQ-M preamp is very powerful and it delivers the typical Marcus Miller slap tone in buckets which is exactly what I was after. Pics attached.
I've been waiting for this! That looks amazing, looks like it's been beautifully set up, too!
 2. Sold my Promethean P5210 to Dunc, couldn't have gone smoother! Great communication from start to finish, lovely fella. Great to do business with. Deal with absolute confidence!
 3.
The one I fancy is the BB1200s - don't really care about bridge pickups that much
I bought a BB1200s for 90 quid in the 80's! Oh how I wish I still had it!
 4.
Hen's teeth! The 1x10 combo is one of the best bits of kit I've ever owned. This will be a rgenuinely portable, giggable beastie. Someone buy it!
It is indeed! And I've even left the tag attached!
 5. Tentatively putting my Ibanez Promethean P5210 combo up for sale. Everyone knows how great it's little brother (P5110) is, neither made any more and the 2x10 must be pretty rare. I certainly haven't seen another. Owned since new and been as reliable as a wood burning stove. Did have one issue with the input jack about 4 years ago but a quick clean up resolved this and never happened since. The 2x10 means the amp is running at 4 ohms so you're getting the full 500 watts. Add to that it's a one handed carry and the amp is detachable from the cab and you've got a pretty versatile, powerful and great sounding amp. There is a bit of damage to one of the corners, it arrived from Thomann like this and isn't structural. I was going to paint it at one point but never got round to it. I wouldn't entertain selling this but something I've been after for a while that hardly ever comes up has just come up! I'm in South Yorkshire and would prefer local pickup but could meet up. Looking for £450. No trades!!
 6.
Here you go!
Lovely! I'd love a 70's Jazz!
 7. Yes, Joe is a great player and a lovely bloke. He's also an amazing artist!
 8. If someone wants to buy my Promethean 2x10 combo....😉
 9.
Maybe he can find me a Yamaha BB5000 - just emailed him! Thanks for the link.
Hope he can sort you out! Glad to be of assistance!
 10.
Danny has a huge amount of vids on youtube. Great bloke. Knows his stuff. Lives in Japan. And he's a monster player.
Some lovely looking pieces behind him, too!
 11.
Yep he's a top bloke - just handled the build of my Atelier Z for me which is on its way from Japan as I type! Here he is demoing it! https://youtu.be/WIaCF6aeV6w
Yes, I saw that one. Lovely looking and sounding bass, you lucky fella! A four string version of that, maybe in a nice walnut brown, would be what I'd like. No doubt you'll be sharing your opinions and some pics when it arrives?
 12. Let's see yer 1975!
 13.
I think some of my least favourite headstocks are the ones where the designers were trying to make them look like the Fender outline, but slightly changed it a bit. Not quite enough to look like the idea was ever any more than a sketch before it went to production.
I agree. Sire's are horrible and Moollon's are AWFUL!
 14. Just stumbled across this, if anyone's looking for a Bacchus, Atelier Z, Dragonfly or the like... http://dannymstewart.com/index.html
 15.
Made a quick demo of my Guma Antique build for your delectation: https://youtu.be/RFd51bJM5l0 1983 Squier JV Jazz, played with a pick, into the Ditto, then into the Antique, out into a Focusrite iTrack Pocket. Si
Nice. Does it have the compressor on it like on the VM?
 16. Last night's gig was ok, a 50th Birthday party, band all friends and good players, free bar and nice food. Unfortunately I had an off night. I was sh*t.
 17.
Always been a Dan fan, but went severley off them after paying good money to watch them destroy all my favourite songs at Wembly Arena circa 1996, ( I had to walk out).
I was there and I loved it. What was it that you found so upsetting? Was it Krantz?
 18. Lovely!
 19. Probably wouldn't have discovered him if I wasn't such a Michael Landau bore, only ever heard him with The Raging Honkies, his brother's long disbanded band. Only other claim to fame was he was married to singer Michelle Branch. Love his playing. Seems to have inherited the Landau tone guarantee as well. Check him out! https://youtu.be/9ANPcI7oELw https://youtu.be/u7p8YNt7V64
 20.
This x1M.
Yes, his work looks to be of the highest quality!
 21.
Andyjr1515 you can find him and his work in the Build Diaries topic.
Cheers!
