Complete novice with IEMs but I used them for the first time last night. The band was very patient with helping me set up and find a sound I was happy with. Sounded great and I could hear the vocals and my bass clearly - sometimes I find this gets lost as I stand next to the drums. I was worried about loosing the live sound experience and feeling disconnected but the opposite happened. Another bonus was I tended to play with less aggressive action which was easier on my fingers. When starting our 3rd set the sound wasn't right and it took me a few songs to realise I hadn't plugged my headphones back in!!

A little boring maybe but I purchased a new power supply for my pedal board. I installed this to the bottom of the board and hid all the cables - proud of my work. I got to my gig last night realising I left my pedal board at home! 🙄

We had a great practice last night without our singer. We played through our set in a critical manner and ironed some issues (nothing major) to give the songs more light and shade. What we do at a gig when a bit more pumped up remains to be seen! My legs are aching today from a few hours of standing mosting in one spot.

Purchased a Big Muff from Ewan. Super easy and super slick. Cheers!

I've got marks from my strap on the body of my bass. The strap which has dimples and was packed against the bass in its case. The photo doesn't really show how much it is marked and they run the length of the bass. Looks a bit like dirty finger marks. I've tried alcohol wipes but this hasnt removed. I'm at a loss of what to try next. The bass is sparkly shell pink and has dulled quite a bit compared to under pick guard. Im worried if I try any rubbing compound it will change the colour. Any suggestions? BTW I since changed straps!
