1. Sorry but not looking for any trades...Unless anyone's got a TC Nova system and some cash...
2. As I am now the wrong side of 50 and currently have no band I think this really should go to someone who's actually going to use it - my mighty TF 550-B. I've not even had a chance to gig this since I bought it, though I understand the previous owner used it quite extensively. Even simple bedroom use though can't hide the fact this is a high quality piece of kit and, for a Class A amp, weighs in at a very manageable 17lbs. As it says in the manual I printed up and is included, "the intent of the amp is to give the best tone possible as soon as you plug in" and I'd say that's a goal it achieves. I also have a TC RH-750 and compared to the TC the Thunderfunk is more authoritative and present - no doubt down to its Class A power supply. Many TF owners only sell their amps to move up in the range. There's no rack ears with the amp but I did order a set of replacement feet from TF in the States. Someone give it the home it deserves. Proce dropped to £595 to include delivery to mainland UK (other destinations by agreement). Can also deliver up to, say, 50 miles or so from Chester for fuel money. Thanks for looking. BC. 3. Last wave of interest seems to have abated so time for another bump, I think. I see 'ebay's' ugly features appearing on the horizon though. Don't make me do it, people!
4. Bump for updated pics. I don't seem to be able to rotate them so apologies for one or two being arse about face.
5. Have reinstated 1 upside down image! Bear with me - middle-aged, technophobe syndrome is having its way with me. Oh, PMs replied to too folks.
6. Looks like my Photobucket account has gone tits up. I'll try and find another host but if anyone wants me to send them photos just PM with an emails address until I get it fixed. As one or two have commented - and I appreciate this is a seller speaking so carries little weight - but this really is a steal at this price now. But I've no band at present and a brace of Zoots to occupy me so it's getting precisely zero playing time. The £650 is a sale price only, obviously.
7. Couple of enquiries but nothing firm yet-type bump.
8. Oh no, now I've started digging. I may have been wrong. It's got to be this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PIQwzWg7-1E
9. These are great amps. All the flexibility and features you could want under one lid. Forget all the negative 'TC watts' crap - if these were rated at 2w they'd be plenty loud enough for most of us. Used mine at an open air, village fete gig last weekend and the master volume didn't get above 9 'o' clock. Much louder and your ears would bleed. GLWTS.
10. You're all wrong, slags! 'The Sweeny's the greatest TV theme ever!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D99O6oTJVHo
11. Heartiest of congratulations and waves of wedded bliss.
12. It is! The market feels very strange right now.
13.
Best cables I've ever bought, period.
Agreed. What I also like about Dave's cables is that they buck the modern trend for built-in obsolescence or the intention to be superseded by later, 'better' models, and literally last a lifetime of trouble-free, top class performance.
14. I've had quite a few expressions in interest in my LE but nothing that's become concrete yet. If anyone's pondering go ahead and make me an offer. I can only say 'no' and - who knows? - I might even say 'yes'!
15. Still available for offers and/or trades. Would consider a decent-ish electric guitar and some cash my way.
16.
PM'd re possible trade
Hi there, I've not received your PM yet. Cheers.
17.
thanks. Apparently this was a factory fretless from Sandberg...!
I think 'factory fretless' generally involves the bass starting life as a fretted and being de-fretted in the factory before it sees the light of day. I gather it's cheaper than setting up aspects of production for what will inevitably be minimal numbers of fretless basses in the first place. It's also why FF basses tend to have their dots between the fret lines. I'd guess this is usually the case with larger operations where most aspects of production are batched or uniform.
18. Updated with trade option - will consider good quality electric guitar.
