Beautiful bass. I so regret selling my old SB 900. There's me trying to save some money for a new car and you have to go and pull this s**t on me. You're a cad and a bounder, Sir!

Henry's just had a lot of hardware off me. Very nice guy to do business with and I'd have no hesitation in dealing with him. BC

Just sold Rob my Zoom 4 track studio, so he can hopefully do what I so singularly failed to do, and wow the music buying public with his compositions! An entirely amicable and pleasant transaction and I'd happily deal with him again. Cheers, Mark

My Super Compact experience - Because we need another Barefaced thread
Bass Culture replied to a topic in Amps and Cabs
I've used a single super compact for over a year now. Best one cab solution out there.
Unless you can stretch to a BB2 that is! -
Bought this (along with a MRS-4 which I also have up for sale) with a view to demoing the hits I was intending to write a few years back. Predictably it never happened, so it's about time this little fella found a new home. The blurb on the box declares:

495 rhythm patterns (396 presets & 99 user)
70 drum kits
7 x 2 (banks) velocity-sensitive drum pads
All in all it's a pretty comprehensive unit. There's a link to the manual here: http://www.zoom.co.j...ds/mrt3/manual/ And a link to a rather gushing user thread here: http://www.synthzone...MRT_3_drum_mach You can create your own drum tracks quite easily as it also includes a number of fills etc. It synchronises via MIDI with the companion MRS-4 recording studio (yep, selling one of them too...) to effectively add a fifth, drum track to recordings on the unit. Basically it's a great sounding, user-friendly piece of kit that, if nothing else, beats the bejesus out of a metronome for playing along to. Includes manual and power supply. NOW SOLD BC

NOW [s]ON HOLD[/s] SOLD I bought this some years ago with the grand idea of demoing songs for an intended home-recorded album. Well that never happened and now, having passed my 50th birthday, I have to concede that it ain't going to anytime soon either. A great piece of kit, these were all the rage a few years back. Pretty easy to get your head round, and capable of pretty impressive results. Records to SmartMedia cards, of which I am throwing in a 128mb-sized one. The unit is boxed, and includes instruction book, power supply and a Belkin smartcard reader. Some FAQ from the Zoom website: http://www.zoom.co.jp/faq/mrs4 And a review from Sound on Sound which will make a better of explaining its use than I ever could: http://www.soundonso...ticles/zoom.htm The only thing that's missing is the little cover to the input where your memory card is inserted in the unit. Mind you it won't fit if a memory card is inserted and is pretty superfluous really. Anyway, this will be of interest to anyone wanting to get some sounds recorded fairly simply without having to go to the trouble of using a PC or Mac. It also synchronises via MIDI with the companion Zoom MRT-3 drum machine, effectively adding a fifth, drum track to your recordings. And guess what? I just happen to be selling one of those too! £30 of your hard-earned and it can be winging its way to you in time to get those hits down before they disappear into the ether.

I have here all the chrome hardware I took off an old Zoot bass I had when I decided to go black and gold instead, which I am selling as a lot. This might be ideal for someone looking to do a project bass on the cheap. FINAL price reduction: now looking for £25 delivered. The lot includes:

4 x Gotoh GB707 tuners (2 per side), including all washers and bushings
Set of 5 heavy duty control knobs
Heavy duty bridge with massive brass saddles - n.b. can be used for through body stringing only (no holes in back plate to pass strings through)
1 x bar type string retainer
All of the items are on good nick and will do a good job. All fixings/screws are present and correct also. I'd prefer to sell all of the items together. £25 to include delivery and their yours. Thanks, BC

For rehearsals I use a Mark Stand either under or behind my Barefaced BB2 (depending on the angle required), but I turn the cab on its side so I can locate the feet of my amp (TC Staccato) against the handle to stop is sliding off the back. Works well.
