Keep us posted on that bag Re: quality etc, I might have a Zoom coming for Christmas and I might plump for this bag if it matches the gator equivalent

Happy to - it's ordered and on its way.
Just come across another bag option, Thomann's own which they are packaging as part of their b9.1ut bundle: http://www.thomann.de/gb/thomann_effect_pedal_bag.htm
Cheers all for the bag recommendations. Just had a 1% pay rise back dated for 3 months - that should just about cover it! Who said the public sector was being slashed!
Anyone found a bag that fits these? I've decided mine's a keeper - even though I use effects very little it's got everything I feel I'll ever need. Ever!
Kind words, Peter. Probably won't see as much of Mersea as I used when I get back now as my brother's uprooted himself and moved down to Cornwall. Still a nice place for a few pints all the same. My ACG's this one: http://www.acguitars.co.uk/Gallery/315/
Couldn't be happier with it. Probably won't be able to make it up to Moffat, I've got a load on theatre-wise and rehearsing a new band and set for my 50th in February. (I'm saying that but when is it?!) Hope all's well.

I bought one of these on the GAK deal too. I'm a complete novice when it comes to effects but I've got a couple of days off work now to get to grips with it. Wish me luck, and brace yourself for multiple 'how do you do this?' postings, ladies and gentlemen!
At the price I just couldn't resist. I haven't even got a band at the moment and I don't really use effects! Still, I'm looking forward to having some fun finding out whether it's a keeper or not.
Thanks for your comments, Steve. It does sound, er, a bit special, doesn't it?! Sadly, being band-less and now having the ACG, which sounds 'monster' too, there's no real room at the Inn...
Just bought Chilievan's (Dale's) Roland Cube 30 off him. Nice piece of kit off a nice guy - packaged within an inch of its life and sent out in short order. I'd be very happy to do business with him any time. Thanks, Dale!

I exchanged quite a few e-mails with Alex when I was considering a Big Baby too. I just loved the look of them and the idea of having a complete one cab solution (I was playing mostly pub gigs at the time though). In the end, after discussing the kind of tone I was after and the kind of players whose tone I liked Alex pointed me in the direction of the S12T. It's brilliant. I've had it a couple of years now and I have suffered no cab GAS since. It might not necessarily be a better option for you but it would definitely be worth kicking the ball around with Alex before you get so besotted with the BB that you're unwilling to consider other options. Either way, I suspect you'll be a happy man.
These were Bass of the Year in one of the bass magazines just a few years back! I'm probably shooting myself int he foot here as I've presently got my own Zoot up for sale but this has got to be a steal at this price.

Sorry, BR, didn't see your reply until this morning. I'm in sunny Chester. Probably a couple of hours up the M40/M6 from your neck of the woods. You're very welcome to pop up and put it through its paces if you like. Tea and biscuits gratis!
