    Bought a pickup for a BB1100S from John. Slight delay due to Royal Mail but luckily it arrived safely & am very pleased. Great communication, helpful when I asked questions & easy transaction. Couldn't ask for more, brilliant all-round!

    It's well known that Warwick in their early years applied the logo by hand using a sharpie

    I must admit, it does give it a classy look. Imagine this with a tortoise shell or black pickguard mmm.. all in all a lovely bass. I'll have to try one sometime.

    A pickguard on a Warwick will always look weird to me.. but I bet it sounds incredible!

    Seeing as I've been looking for a 5 string SSI, I thought I'd contact the guy.. although in it's current condition I'm not interested in it. Nice chap, however I'd be careful with this one. It appears whoever did the refinish sanded away the serial number. Usually for this period it's located behind the headstock between the tuners. Originally it was honey violin. Surely that's affected the resale value?
