1. I agree with those suggesting you remove the ACG. I swapped mine out for a glockenklang and the difference was incredible.
2. I've been impressed by some of the reviews of the sire v7's on YouTube, but can anyone confirm if the B string is any good on the 5's?
3. Weight is 10lbs +/- 1oz according to my bathroom scales and the nut is definitely 52mm. It'd make a lovely Christmas present!
4. If it was a different colour it would have gone (to me!) in a flash; I just can't do gold. Absolutely fantastic bass, GLWTS.
5. Thanks for the comments, guys. Up she goes.
6. Would sell for £1150 (plus P&P) This is an absolutely gorgeous bass in fantastic condition which has a lovely tone and balances really nicely on the strap. If you haven't played a zero radius fingerboard and asymmetrical neck they are fantastic and really do make for easier playing. 8. Still here. Drop me a PM if you would like to make an offer.
9. Thanks Eude. It's a gorgeous bass and I'm sure the new owner will love it.
10. Weight is about 9 lbs according to my bathroom scales.
11. I haven't had this for too long, but I've come to the conclusion that I'm not a 6 string bassist and probably never will be. This is an absolutely gorgeous bass in fantastic condition which has a lovely tone and balances really nicely on the strap. If you haven't played a zero radius fingerboard and asymmetrical neck they are fantastic and really do make for easier playing. The price will be reduced by £120 if only one EQ is requested. Trades - might be tempted by a high end 5 string with a more traditional vibe (e.g. Lull, Nordy, Xotic, etc..). Might also consider something more modern such as a Roscoe. Whatever it is, a strong B is a must.
